They even removed all the downspouts. While replacing some wood was part of the job, they identified, and replaced wood that I didn't know was bad. When they were done the only things left were a sparkling house and barn; no other indication that they were there. They should be the first company that you call."

"Russell Hill was the one bright spot of replacing my roof after storm damage. My insurance company dragged their feet for 6 months and initially refused to cover it's replacement or repair. After talking with different roofers, I went with Russell Hill because they were willing to help me through the process of "fighting" insurance. They helped me hire a public adjuster and would periodically check-in with me to assure me that I hadn't been forgotten and that the adjuster was still working on my case. Ultimately, they were right about the damage being covered by insurance and after a few months insurance agreed to cover it. Russell Hill quickly scheduled the replacement after confirmation and actual install of a ~1800 sq ft house roof replacement (including some roof element upgrades) took a day. Their staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful."

"We had damage to our house from the Spring storms and some wood rot on the bottom of the trim on both of our garage doors. We hired Apex Design Build after they had a special on Angie's List. They replaced the shutter on our home, replaced some trim that came off in the storm that was above our two story entry way, painted all the shutters on our house and replaced the trim/weather stripping on our two garage doors with PVC that won't rot. They were very easy to work with and did a wonderful job on our house. We won't hesitate to call them again; in fact, we are going to have them do some more work on our house."

"The existing roof on the house and garage was torn off, new sheet decking installed on top of old board decking of the house, new flashing, drip edge, shingles installed on house and garage. Installed new ridge vent on house. Some of the siding that needed to be removed to install flashing was damaged as can happen but was replaced with new. It was a difficult roof with multiple dormer windows and odd angles but they did a careful job and I've received many compliments on the appearance from neighbors. Good job with clean up too. The owner is easy to reach and quick to reply to all questions I had. From day I asked for quote until day completely finished was under 5 weeks. Without hesitation I'd recommend them to others. "Perfect. It was a 90’ plus day so they started at 6am. David showed up 30 min before his crew with a large case of Gatorade for them. His crew never stopped working. Very polite. My insurance only replaced what needed fixed for hail damage. He went above and beyond and upgraded my roof to ridge vents and replaced as many deck boards as I needed with my insurance check. David was a very polite and professional through the whole process. The clean up was unbelievable. My yard and landscape was a mess. By the time they were done, I couldn’t find a single roofing nail!! I plan on building a house in the near future and I want him installing the roof.
