We bought our house a couple years ago with the knowledge that we’d need a new roof soon. Sure enough, this spring, rain started coming in through our bathroom ceiling. We put a bucket out, and started making phone calls. One of those was to Mighty Dog Roofing of Rhode Island. Within a couple hours, they were at our house, placing a temporary patch, and talking us through the work we’d need done. They sent up a drone to take pictures, and peeked into the attic. It was the beginning of a truly exceptional relationship. Here are three reasons we loved working with Mighty Dog: Patience! The guys never got tired of answering our endless questions, or explaining the intricacies of roofing materials in laymen’s terms. We were never made to feel rushed, or silly for wanting to know more. Education! You know what we didn’t know anything about? Roofs! You know what we know a ton about now? ROOFS! Jonathan and Andrew spent a lot of time talking with us about ventilation, snow dams, shingles, chimneys, gutters…I could go on. But they made sure we understood the project, and could make informed decisions about it. They love what they do, and it shows. Competence! They know their stuff. They were well-prepared. They shared realistic timelines. They used great materials. (Our Owen Corning shingles look so gooood!) At all times, they showed skill and enthusiasm for our roofing job. And one more big reason to love them?! Care! Big home repairs are a vulnerable moment, but Mighty Dog took the fear out of the process. They communicated generously. They showed up for the install with an amazing team. They spoke with neighbors on our crowded street to make sure that no one was inconvenienced by vehicles or errant nails. "i see lot positive reviews ,but does anyone really go look at work, I gave Richard 2 roofers to do side by side ,bad thing to do ,only thing he cared about doing them the same day , he never got out truck .nor did he go on roof to see what job his borrow help did, i had shingle buckling even sent him 2 photos never came to look got like the warranty Richard gives been 4 months now still picking up nail tells gutter were all cleaned not true i had 3 pounds roof nail in gutter . vent were never sealed"

"I had a FANTASTIC experience with LCT! It started with a prompt response from them, setting up an appointment the next day after a tree fell on my house. James came down and explained everything thoroughly and gave me some options. After talking to a few other vendors, I knew I wanted to go with LCT. Their pricing was better than the other quotes and James was great to work with. Before the crew started any work I met the owner, Luis, and knew I had chosen the right company. He was just as great as James, very thorough and let me know what would be happening. In addition to needing the roof replaced we also had some damage to rafters and decking to replace. After the job was complete, Luis did a thorough inspection of the work and made sure I was happy with everything. The crew did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the work. "This company completely took advantage of my MIL with high pressure sales. She did not need her roof redone yet they convinced her she needed it and 30k$ later she has a new roof she didn't need or want. You should be ashamed of yourselves."

"Betho Construction delivered excellent service and replaced my roof with professionalism and courtesy. In addition to pictures that were taken of my actual roof before I decided to use their services, unlike the other two companies that I considered, Betho was the only company that did not ask about my marital status! Luis, the owner, was professional and focused only on delivering quality service for a long-lasting roof. I chose them also because they used Owens Corning shingles, which gave me peace of mind and comfort. The crew arrived on time and worked expeditiously for over a day and a half until the job was done. They also cleaned up all nails and materials when they finished their work. Because I was beginning to have a problem with bats and flying squirrels, I then had Betho Construction come back and install galvanized steel ridge protectors on my roof to keep the animals out! That project was done in a professional manner and was completed in half a day. I would use Betho Construction at any time based on the two jobs they have now done for me. I highly recommend this company!"

"I had a terrible experience with Roofers Edges & Siding Inc. We decided to replace the roof for solar system, and hired them to do the job. Remember: you are not hiring Kevin but his crew!!! The communication was extremely poor. At first, despite Kevin agreeing to use an ice shield for the front of my house, his crew was unaware of this requirement. I saw they are using the wrong material, and I had to contact Kevin at the installation day to ensure they were doing the job correctly. It was frustrating that the crew couldn't understand English, and Kevin himself never showed up at my house after the initial estimate. To make matters worse, the roof replacement resulted in a severe water leak problem between my chimney and roof. I asked them to fix it, but they failed once and never showed up again even though they provided an one-year warranty. At very beginning, I fully trusted them, and didn't check regularly, eventually I found the leaking problem persisted several months after the replacement the roof! Despite numerous attempts to contact Kevin, he consistently failed to respond to my calls and texts. Instead, he tried to blame the issue on a chimney problem, and told me they can do a water test, but that never happens. I eventually had to hire a new company to look into it, and they found out that the FLASHING was NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY!!! and I can see the sky from my attic. I had to pay extra money to redo the flashing job, and Roofers Edges & Siding already lost my trust. The lack of professionalism continued when they claimed to have applied for a permit for the job, and I trusted them. However, several months later, I found out that there was no record of the application with the town. When I contacted them, they said the issue is an incorrect address, how un-professional they are! Overall, I would not recommend Roofers Edges & Siding Inc to anyone. Their poor communication, lack of professionalism, and shoddy workmanship were unacceptable. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy roofer, I suggest you look elsewhere."
