He showed his insurance and information, along with BBB rating and articles about his business.  He then gave me an estimate to create a bubbler system for my home to dispel my sub pump water away from the house.  He did give me a very reasonable price, and mentioned HOW they were going to perform the work as well.  He also suggested tying in the downspout that was very close to the location of the sub pump.  <br /> The only thing I didn't like is that on the phone, the owner made it sound like he could squeeze me in fairly quickly, but when I signed the contract, he told me it would be at least a month before he could get to me. He took my down payment of half of the price of the project, and said they would give me a call.  It's been two weeks, so hopefully it does occur before serious snow, because it would be pretty difficult to dig once the ground is hard.  <br /> I think it will be very professionally done when completed, but I would like a solid timeline if I was going to get work done again. <br /> <br />"

While looking at the retaining wall and stairs, he did notice that my foundation wall was starting to buckle in. The crew that he had assigned to the job were very polite and professional. They answered all my questions while they were working. The crew did a good job cleaning up after the work was completed and walked me through on what they did. I am very happy with the work that was done. I would use this company for future projects."

They replaced all the old copper pipes with new PCV and plex type piping. They even cut up the old copper piping and left it for us so we could get some bucks back when we take in for recycling. Frank's installed a waterguard system around the perimeter (including a new sump pump) and a dehumidifier, they have both made a huge difference in the atmosphere of the basement. Discussed a couple of different options and took the one that he recommended. Gave me a price and an approximate time when he could do the job. He actually came earlier than he said he would.showed up with 3 other workers and went right to work. He actually didn't use a piece of equipment that he said he needed, so he adjusted the price accordingly. Finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up, reseeded the dug up area and left. I must say that I have had absolutely no problems with standing water since he did the job. Even tied the downspouts from the gutters into the drain tile. I highly recommend PJK construction if you need any drain tile work done. <br />"

"I've worked in contracting of over 40 years, mostly commercial.   I was very impressed with Utech.   The crews were very professional.   Daily there was a supervisor who was very experienced and directed the crew with professionalism.  They protected all of my existing surfaces, cleaned up the areas nightly, and were very sensitive to the owner.   Very polite, well mannered.  When additional labor was needed, additional crews were brought in.    The owner stopped by twice along with a traveling supervisor.   Very labor intensive, but they did everything perfectly. <br />"

Bob and his crew followed the written quote he provided to me to the letter and there were no surprises, or additional charges. He brought screened top soil to lay down as needed and when Cody spotted some low spots around my yard, he asked if I wanted them to drop some top soil to those areas as well; which they did and at no extra charge.
