"A salesman from Home Genius came to my house and gave me an estimate. Companies never give an itemized estimate like you would get at a car lot. He showed me a tablet contract with the different charges but did not email me a copy. I called the company last week but they have not sent me a copy yet. A week or so later the ordered materials arrived and the workers came to put up the siding. One of the workers asked me if the fascia and soffit was supposed to be installed. I had no idea what they even were. I told him I understood the entire house was supposed to be sided. He told me that those products were not included in what they brought. The project manager had already come and gone. I did not see him until after the workers had done the siding. That was the next day. I asked him about the fascia and soffits. He said it wasn't in my contract. I asked how much to finish it and he told me $10.000. I could not believe it. Brian Henderson, the salesman, never said anything about fascia and soffits not being included. And as I remember it, he glossed very quickly over the contract. This is how I get cheated. These companies don't go over their contract slowly. They whiz through them quickly nor giving you a chance to see what is on them. I have complain to both Home Genius and Good leap Finance and told them what happened. I am tired of being played for a sucker."

"Project started out well paid 7000 upfront. They finished approximately three-quarter of my roof due to needing chimney rebuilt. The remainder of the roof needed to wait for flashing. I paid in full. The total cost of the roof have been trying to reach back out for a completion due to all of the wet weather we have had not only is my roof not completed. No one will return my phone calls the phone number on the card is not a working number and I do not have the cell phone number of the foreman. It would be nice for them to reach back out to finish the job they was hired to do. If not, I will contact my attorney and begin action."

"Donovan Bennett IS AN ABSOLUTE BLESSING. He is very knowledgeable of the roof process. He was the FIRST person to ever go in the attic to inspect the roof (during a inspection)! I had four different roofing company and he was the ONLY one that conducted a thorough Inspection. On top of all of that, I had a bird's nest that was tearing up my house.. and he offered to take it down, and he did! He offered to take the bird's nest down (this was before any business was conducted). He is the absolute best, and I am thankful he came!!"

"sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an “honest” evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for."
