"Blake Dukes the inspector did a great initial inspection and we decided to move forward with him and that was a great decision then Lori Walter helped guide us to the day of installation where we met Omar the project manager and the crew, they installed a GORGEOUS window! Highly recommend the professional company that is Home Genius Exteriors !"

"Easy process from quote to work complete. The crew worked on a few small projects -- fixed a damaged wall, repaired flooring, and installed a new toilet."

"My roofing project went great from beginning to end with A1 Home Improvement. I had 3 other companies come give me estimates. A1 sales rep Cody stood out from the group. Cody was punctual, knowledgeable, straight forward with me without any pressuring sales tricks. Cody talked about and treated my home like it was his own and was a wealth of knowledge for other projects I’d like to get done. On the day of my project Markeese and his team did excellent work. They made sure my roof looked great! Markeese kept me informed on the job throughout the entire day and answered all my questions I may have had. Now I did have concerns about some trim that didn’t look entirely right but Markeese and Corine from the office were quick to address my concerns. Within a few days Lenny and Carlos were back to make the trim on my house look perfect. At the end of my project Tawana made finishing paper work, payment, and warranty information as easy as possible. I can’t thank the team at A1 enough !"

"I have a 100 year old home that needed to have the front porch deck & railngs replaced. The price was right, quality was great. John & his crew were fast, efficient, neat & kept me informed all along. I would definitely hire them again!"

"Artisan Building & Remodeling was an excellent choice for replacing my wind-damaged shingles. Of the various roofing companies that came out to give estimates, Brandon was the only one who insisted I let him speak to my insurance company on my behalf. He was even present when the insurance inspector came out to look at my roof. I feel I would not have succeeded on my own in negotiating anything with my insurance company. The roofing crew was very efficient in their work. Everyone on the team had a job to do, no time was wasted. Brandon was always thorough with his communications, whether it be by phone, email or text. He was always prompt – more prompt than the insurance inspector. I’m very satisfied with and highly recommend Artisan Building & Remodeling!"

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

Troy was great! He is a little hard to get a hold of, but when he said he would show up, he did or called and told us he was running late every time. Our job was time and materials, so there was no bid before hand.Troy worked very hard while in the house, was professional and polite, did very clean work and left the job site cleaner than when he arrived. We scheduled Troy to come in to move all the water pipes and develop a solution to poor insulation / moisture barrier from when the bathroom was added to the house in the 1970s.  Troy took two days to do this part as he ran in to some problems that were not his fault (The house is 137 years old - this happens every time).  Troy was very creative in solving the moisture barrier and insulation problem.  He did excellent work replacing the sub floor and was able to match it perfectly so that the new tile floor would match grade level to the floor outside the bathroom.  He did use a sub-contractor for the pipe work, but Troy was always there while he was working.  The only thing negative was they forgot to put escutcheons around the pipes before they welded the valves on (Minor, but irritating). We then had to book Troy to return when we were done with replacing the tile backer board and installing tile floor and subway tiles on the wall.We booked him to return in 4 weeks (We are weekend warriors -  We knew it would take us at least this long).Troy returned as scheduled to complete the job.  He stayed and worked for 10 hours till the job was done.  He installed the new toilet and the pedestal sink we had purchased.  We also had him go ahead and replace all the hardware in the shower and install new shower doors.
Troy works very methodically - He may seem slow, but when he does it, he does it right (unlike other contractor / handymen we have used)
We are very happy over all with the work that Troy did and will use him again."
