"The job, carpet removed, new floor installed in dining room and hall, took one day, which was the time the vendor estimated. The vendor arrived on time with two other workers. The job was completed with careful attention to detail and looks beautiful. Workers were very polite. They tried to inconvenience me as little as possible, because my space is not large. Clean-up was thorough. The price paid was fair. Note: they do not take credit cards. The business owner was very pleasant and concerned with my satisfaction. I would definitely use this vendor again and plan to. I highly recommend his services."

"Paul was great! Always on time and finished the work in a timely fashion. Nice clean-up when they were finished . He helped us brain storm through problems as we did our condo renovation. For us he removed a wall between kitchen and dining room, relocated and replaced electrical, renovated a bathroom, installed floor, painted , added lighting. We plan to have him back for phase 2 of renovations."

"This company has done a wonderful job with my kitchen renovation. They followed exactly how I wanted my kitchen to look. The customer service is excellent. I will definitely be getting other part of my house renovated in the future by them."

"Jeremy and his team was very professional and went above and beyond our expectations. We had a vision and they made it look better than what we imagined. Jeremy redid our entire basement, gym and helped with other renovation projects at our house. Highly recommend Grandview."

"We hired JK Complete Remodeling & Construction to help us finish our basement. They did an amazing job and were easy to work with. They also gave great feedback and suggestions on materials like flooring and tile. We are very happy with the final project and love our new basement. We will be using JK Remodeling on future projects."

"Gene, Lior, and their team were amazing! We had multiple contractors ghost us for structural work in our basement (replacement of wooden beam and posts with steel). The team did EVERYTHING for us - from the architectural drawings, to Chicago city permits, to the work. Their estimate was exactly what we paid, and their timeline was correct. The thing that stood out the most was their responsiveness. We asked a lot of questions and Lior and Gene always responded right away with clear answers to all of our questions. I have and will continue to recommend Chi Renovation and Design!"

"This was my first experience with remodeling and hiring a contractor so am not sure how much of my disappointment is because of unreal expectations.   I had made the assumption that I had hired him as the contractor but found that I was having to be the go-between for the vendors from whom I purchased the materials and him.   While the bathroom looks updated, I was very disappointed with the quality of the work.  The delivery of the tiles took three attempts because he didn't want to be responsible for having to bring them up to my unit and the company only delivered curbside but ultimately he did it.   There was also a tear in the drywall from where they removed the original plastic floor molding and they just painted over it initially.   When I brought it to his attention, he threw some mud over it and then repainted but there is still a noticeable bump on the wall.  I didn't have new drywall installed on a couple of walls so expected minor visible imperfections but was surprised at the number of places where there had been grout or spackle used and it wasn't smoothed out well out before it was painted over.   When he initially installed the medicine cabinet and lightening, it was a little lower than I thought it would be and the light was off center over the cabinet.  When I asked if the cabinet could be raised a little and the light centered, I was told that it couldn't be done.  So I checked with a friend who ensured me that it could be based on what I wanted done and told me what to tell him.  When I provided that info, I was then told that it wasn't that it couldn't be done but that it would take a little longer to do and came by and did it.  The tile work is okay but some of the tiles are uneven and the grout is heavier in some places than others.  Also, as he was wrapping up the job, I noticed that he had decided to use three pieces of the bath tiles to complete the molding on the wall between the tub and sink which was different than the floor tile.  When I asked why, he mentioned that he had run out of the floor tiles but didn't think to tell me when he had me order more of the bath tiles so that it could be finished correctly.   I also noticed that because the molding tiles that run along the wall with the toilet and sink weren't measured correctly, the cabinet for the sink does not sit flush against that wall and the caulking that he used around the sink has started cracking and it has only been less than a month.   Overall the bathroom does look better than the old one but I am wondering if this one will last as long.

"I couldn’t be happier with the work Jamie did on our home renovation. He handled everything from painting, tile work, and flooring with outstanding skill and attention to detail. The quality of craftsmanship was excellent, timelines were respected, and communication was clear and professional throughout the entire project. He treated the house with care, kept the workspace clean, and offered thoughtful suggestions that improved the final result. Reliable, hardworking, and highly skilled—I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for top-quality home renovation work and would absolutely hire him again"

"The construction went very well. It actually was completed before the estimate - it helped that I wasn't living here at the time. The workmanship is stellar and I am very pleased with the final product. They were responsive to my requests for little things to be changed - like the lights were installed upside down from what I wanted or the toilet paper holder needed to be moved. Angelo was friendly and I felt that he was taking care of my house & me like a father. Rose in the office answered every email and question in a timely manner. She's also followed up when I had an issue with my new dishwasher."

"5-Star Review for Budget Construction Company I recently hired Budget Construction to complete a full gut renovation of my townhouse in Elk Grove Village, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From beginning to end, the project was handled with exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency. I worked with Will, Max, and their team—and they were fantastic. They were thorough, responsive, and clearly experienced. They used high-quality materials throughout the renovation, and most importantly, there were no change orders—they stuck to both the original pricing and timeline, which is rare and incredibly appreciated. The transformation of my home is truly impressive, and it’s clear that this team takes great pride in their work. If you’re looking for a construction company that delivers quality, reliability, and outstanding service, I highly recommend Budget Construction. Mia Billard"
