"The purchase went very well.  Salesman/part owner was very good, listened to our needs, and directed us to a carpet and pad that met both our need and budget.  He was very pleasent to deal with. <br /> His installer was prompt, efficent and professional.  Very good to deal with.  Job was done one time and very well.  One of his helpers had to leave before the install was complete which left him temporaly short handed.  He immediately called another helper who was here within 30 minutes or so and the work was completed timely. <br /> The only confusion was with the transition pieces in the bedroom doors to bridge the area between the bedroom carpet and the laminate flooring in the hall.   I had the transition material, which matched the hall flooring, on hand but forgot to mention it to to the carpet sales man so it was not covered by the instructions given the installer.  I only discovered the omission when I went to check on their progress and found them using the old metal transitions pieces they pulled up when the removed the old carpet and pad. . I pointed out the problem and got the correct transiton mateial from the garage.  The installer promptly and without question or hesditation pulled up the old transitions and neatly and professionally cut, fitted and installed the proper ones.  I couldn't ask for more from him. <br /> I would have preferred that  the company's owner/salesman mention the transitions at the time we purchased the carpet so it was covered in the installers instructions and the confusion would not have occured.   This is the only glitch in our experience with  Schmidt.  I regard it as minor and will not hesitate to purchase from them again.  <br />"

"Actually Clean was able to come out on short notice to clean the carpets in our newly purchased home. There were several pet stains and lingering odors left by the previous owners. These folks did an Outstanding job getting the carpets fresh and clean and they were in and out in under 2 hours. I found them to be timely, courteous, and professional and would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks for a job well done!"

"Work was done on time. They coordinated with us since major areas of the house were inaccesible during the job (due to the layout of our house). We had minor issues due to a secretary at the office but the crew compensated for her misinformation and she was fired for her errors. We missed out on an installation option, but the owner personally inspected the situation and gave us back a partial refund to cover the additional supplies needed to fix it ourselves. Crew was very friendly, trustworthy and hardworking."

"I’ve used them for several years and they do a good job. They’re reasonably priced like everybody else. They’re pricing is probably a little bit expensive, but the carpet stays clean for quite a while when they clean it, it doesn’t leave any soap in it. I think there are better prices around. I think it ends up being $300. It stays clean for quite a while, that’s why I use them. They show up when they say they are going to show up. I went with them because I’ve used other companies and within 6 months, it’s a very light color carpet and the areas where there is a lot of traffic it got dirty real quick. I thought what is going on, it was an experiment. So, I thought I will get Chem-Dry, I was one of their ads, and I said, “well, I’ll try somebody different.” They cleaned it and in 6 months it was still clean, in a year it was still clean, because the dirt didn’t stick to it. The other guys were leaving just enough soap in it that it would attract the dirt, that was the deal. The carpet would stay clean a little longer, so why wouldn’t I use you again? They’re here, they do the job, they do a good job. The carpet stays cleaner longer, so I know there’s not as much soap in it, I don’t want to be breathing soap. They do have, I think a better process. They have this motorized thing that turns on the carpet and it really cleans it well. I don’t know how to explain it, but it does a good job. Whatever they’re doing, it works."
