They actually told me NOT to get the additional optional recirculating feature that another company was recommending, due to cost and reliability issues. When Washington Water Heater’s bid came in it was about 40% less than the other guy for the same work and same water heater (minus the recirculating feature)- $5200 vs $9100. They didn’t require any money up front (other guy wanted 50%) and were able to schedule the work for only a few days out (other guy said it could be weeks or months). The showed up on time, did excellent work and even charged me slightly LESS than the original bid because they ended up not needing to install a pump for the condenser."

They also set up new plumbing for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in the basement, and removed my old water heater and installed a tankless water heater. Any issues that came up, they were very quick to resolve (including an old copper pipe that they didn't install which welding came loose, and they were there same day to fix.) great honest service, reliable service. He discovered that the pump run constantly and that shouldn’t be happening. The result is my house is always 80° if I keep it plugged in so I always keep it unplugged. He diagnosed that the pump needs to be replaced but wasn’t absolutely positive if that would solve my heating problem. He’s supposed to be getting me a bid on replacing the pump, but I haven’t heard back from him. I would probably hire him again."
