"During an on-time inspection, Chuy carefully evaluated my project which involved grinding, brick removal, tuckpointing, caulking. He answered questions, and advised based on evident experience. Rocio at the office efficiently and attentively coordinated. Chuy and Jose conducted the work carefully, beautifully, and efficiently."

"Scott was wonderful from start to finish. He came out and provided an estimate and was ready to start once we gave him the green light. He handled all correspondence with the Village of Frankfort to obtain the work permit and shared every step of the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the reason for the split from the brick work and drywall. Upon one visual inspection, he was able to determine the materials that would match. While I was nervous about the possibility of the materials not matching, honestly... you cannot tell the rework was not included in the original build. He and his team did a beautiful job with the reconstruction! Greatly appreciated!"

"Miguel promptly returned my call, came to my house, and gave me an estimate. I accepted his estimate and he and Daniel came out the next day and completed the job to my satisfaction. Miguel is a very good brick mason and replaced the shoulders on both sides of my chimney."

"Great job repairing our cement stairs"

"Prompt, courtesy and professional, Jose did an excellent job repairing a retaining wall and a brick patio. Plan on hiring him again for future projects."

"Mitch and Spencer handled my tuck pointing job, which started out small but turned out to be large, professionally. They knew what the problem was with water infiltration and how to treat it. Their tuck-pointer did really great work on the stone and brick and rebuilding my rear stairs and he left the place spotless. I will definitely re-hire them for projects I have coming up."

"It was a pleasure working with Rob. I wasn't sure if my chimney needed entirely rebuilt or just tuck-pointed. I had another company quote my work and they provided me a cost to entirely rebuild it. Rob came and looked at the chimney and gave me a cost just to repair it. His cost was 7x cheaper. I trusted his 30+ years in the industry and went with Fire It Up. I'm happy i chose them. Saved me a lot of money and the chimney looks great."

"Mike and his team from John's Masonry and Construction did an outstanding job replacing 2 lintels, putting in drip edges on stone caps, and tuck pointing/repairing any gaps around all bricks. The crew did a great job around the entire area and did a great job cleaning up after the project was completed. Communication was excellent during the entire process as was the quality control. Highly recommend them."

"You will want to trust your house to DJD Restorers! Tuckpointing is a process that must be done right or you will get sloppy results. Speaking to David, he is so knowledgeable about what needs to be done. He saw what was done to our brickwork by another contractor who I regret hiring. We cancelled our contract and hired DJD. David assured us that our brick was repairable. His crew came out replaced damaged bricks and did an awesome job of grinding out the joints and replacing with mortar in the color we chose, which was buff. The final result was just simply amazing and we are so happy we found this company. They were very responsible, on time, clean up well, and MOST IMPORTANTLY do precise work. They even removed our downspouts to grind and tuck point behind them and replace them. We highly recommend DJD Restorers for your brickwork to be done with care and professionalism."

"Purchased a new multi-flat house to live in and rent, and what we hoped were small issues in the roof ended up being big ones that necessitated a new roof or a repair. They explained both options (repair or new roof) fully and carefully, and were extremely transparent about the cost, the ideal solution, but also what would work for a while. Because the property we purchased also ended up having mold issues, doing the job the right way was our priority, and we went with the new roof. Alsip were *extremely* responsive and worked hard to fit us in before more bad weather hit, which we really really appreciated. Because we were not able to be present for the install, they sent us a ton of before, after, and in-process pictures as well. We'd go with them again in a heartbeat for any roof projects (we're intending to do a green roof down the road and will be calling Alsip first), and encourage everyone else to do the same."
