The pump for my lawn irrigation system was running but no water was being pumped to the system.  I phoned Progressive Pump and Irrigation Company and Jennifer took my name and phone number with a promise to call back to schedule a service call.  When she called back and appointment was set for the next day at a specified time.  The technician, Justin, arrived within a few minutes of the appointment time and did a quick check of the system.  As with many plumbing situations you don't know the extent of the problem until you actually begin the work.  Justin wrote out a quote for what he believed would repair the problem and said if I agreed with the price I should contact the office and set a day and time for the work to be done.  Again, Justin arrived at the time agreed upon and began troubleshooting the problem.  He spent the better part of two days eliminating each possible cause of the malfunction.  He flushed lines, primed the pump, dug up the check valve, primed the pump some more and replaced the index valve.  When he took apart the pump motor there were two partial metal rings wedged under the impeller.  A new pump, with a better base and some new piping from the well to the pump, more priming and finally a working system.  He was not about to be bested by an irrigation system.  He did not give up until the problems were solved.  It was definitely a multi-malfunction repair job.  Thanks to his "never-give-up" work ethic the job is done.

"I called The Lawn Patrol to get an estimate on cutting the lawn. Ryan (the owner) stopped by and called me with an estimate that was reasonable. As we were talking I mentioned I needed someone to trim the trees and shrubs on the property and also someone to check out the sprinkler system. Since I live out of state I was hoping to get a strong referral but to my surprise he said that he also maintains trees and shrubs and can inspect and repair irrigation systems. After agreeing to price (very reasonable) I hired The Lawn Patrol to maintain the whole property. Upon inspection of the sprinkler system Ryan found some things that needed repair and called me to discuss. I needed some heads dropped and some lines moved. He adjusted the heads to get good coverage and completed the repairs promptly. He also sent me pictures of the trees & shrubs he trimmed which I appreciated very much. I highly recommend The Lawn Patrol. Ryan is knowledgeable in all phases of lawn/landscape and irrigation system maintenance."
