"Ray at Advanced Plumbing is such a professional and a gentleman -- I spoke with him on the 'phone when Mike, his service man called him to report he was unable to clear the drain. <br /> Ray spoke to me at length, outlining options.  He stated he did not want me to pay for the failed attempt, and referred me to ROOTER MAN, specifically Tony.  He stated if Tony was unable to clear the drain, nobody could do it.  He outlined he needed to purchase a slower RPM rooter machine.  He also stated Tony would come out the following day, but possibly same day, 11/19/14. <br /> I returned to work, and much to my surprise, Tony's office called and stated he could be there in 15-min.  I agreed and drove home to connect with Tony.  Let me tell you what a great guy Tony is....very polite, very quiet and very focused.  This man worked and worked for several hours and was finally able to clear my shower drain, saving me AT LEAST hundreds of dollars and the hassle of have yet another contractor come out and break up the shower floor and start busting up the concrete to get to the "double 90" problem area. <br /> Both of these companies are very reputable and I recommend either and both.  Thank you Ray, Mike & TONY - I'm spreading the word about what great companies these are.  Thank you Angie's List, Ray, Mike, and most of all.... <br /> TONY YOU ARE THE MAN HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL & GOD BLESS!"

"My main drain was backing up. This has happened before and I assume will happen again. They quoted me $152 and charged $152. I am a struggling single mom teacher and when something hits financially, it really hurts. To come up with this amount was hard for me, so any more than this was just not possible. But they came and performed the work they said they were going to do and things are good for another 6 months to a year. I know I'll have to use them again and I trust them. I appreciate the few honest and dependable companies that are still out there."

"First off, appointment for plumbing work was scheduled and then related craftsmen were scheduled accordingly-drywall, flooring, etc. On the morning of our scheduled plumbing appointment, Air Assurance was a no-show at scheduled time. After allowing sufficient time for car trouble, unexpected events, etc, I called the office to inquire as to what the delay was. After numerous back and forth calls, I was told that the appointment would be cancelled because it had been mis-scheduled as a one hour repair rather than an 8 hour remodel. Chris, the supervisor of the plumbing division made no effort to reschedule for the following day, stating it "just wasn't possible", even though I had scheduled correctly and had done so more than a week in advance. He did not care that all of the other craftsmen would now need to be rescheduled, as well as hotel reservations extended due to not having a usable bathroom. We had completely gutted the bathroom in order to make installation day go smoothly and quickly. Chris promised to discount the work and also promised to be at the worksite the following week to supervise the work. Neither promise was kept. Additionally, because of the original no-show of the workers, I kept track of the times each separate worker arrived, the time they left for lunch and their return. This resulted in a total time of 6 hours on site- but did not count the numerous breaks to go make personal phone calls to one worker's doctor and other time-consuming/non-job related tasks. Imagine my surprise when I was presented with a $1000+ bill, which I promptly refused to pay. I finally ended up with a laughable discount making my bill $960, with the caveat that Chris, the supervisor, would call me and discuss this charge. It has now been one month and I still have not heard from Chris. Our bathroom was left a stinking mess because the workers had used the (turned off) toilet all day and did not flush after turning the water back on; our tub enclosure is uneven with the sides almost .75inches higher than the back wall; and we had to pay an extra $400 to a handyman to repair and replace the damage done when installing the enclosure. While the two workers were very nice, I would not recommend them for anything but basic plumbing repairs-certainly not remodels and absolutely not enclosures. And get upfront pricing and verified amount of time scheduled for repair."
