To start, they send out an appraiser to visit your space. They calculate the amount of time they think your move will take, and then an absolute maximum. Before the move even starts, you know the max price that you will pay, regardless of what occurs. Next, the awesome logistics team coordinates with you. They are professional and responsive. I needed proof of insurance, and had several questions about the move. All of this was put to rest within 24 hours of tentatively scheduling. Two days before the move, one of their logistics coordinators called me to ensure we were ready, and to be available for any further questions. Tell me your moving company offered this much prep work, free of charge. On the day of the move, the team called and let us know when they would arrive. They were incredibly careful, both with our building, and our furniture. They were not the fastest movers I've ever had, and this is a good thing. Other movers break and scratch so many things from rushed carelessness. Everything was wrapped according to my specifications, with them asking specifically what I would and would not like wrapped as we went. They packed the truck, and then our storage unit like champions! There were more than 10 squared feet left in the unit thanks to how they packed it. The movers were courteous, kind, and funny, and made a usually stressful process an easier one. We paid more than one thousand dollars less than our estimated maximum, taking much fewer hours and supplies even with all the careful work the team did before moving our items. If you need movers that you can trust, I don't think you can get any better than Hauling Moses."
