"<p>I am writing this recommendation for Procrete and their owner Dave McBride. I decided to engage Dave and Procrete after searching for a hardscape / paver contractor local to my summer house in Margate. There are many contractors who will work at the shore, but my preference was to find a company based in the area vs. an hour away. </p> <p>Dave was very professional in his approach, and consultative. I shared with him what we were looking for, to completely rebuild our back yard, from 50 year old ugly cracked concrete and a chain link fence to a new vinyl fence and pavers.<br></p> <p>We shared our vision, and Dave’s firm provided a sketch of what the back yard could look like with a specific paver design, which we ended up going with – while making a few changes along the way.<br></p> <p>We also had Dave install a built-in gas firepit that has exceeded our expectations. It is now the central point of our new back yard.<br></p> <p>While at it, I also had Dave replace my old cracked driveway with new concrete and pavers for my front walkway. AS his team was already at my house doing a job, the extra cost was not prohibitive.<br></p> <p>My biggest concern going in was using a contractor that I did not have a previous referral for. Dave provided referrals plus a list of properties in the local area that he did work on.<br></p> <p>I must say, the work was top notch and we are thrilled with how our back yard came out. I had no less than 4 neighbors comment on the work they were doing and their commitment to doing a good job vs. a fast job.<br></p> <p>I have been screwed before by contractors that finish the job 80-90% and then never come back to truly complete the job. Dave even came back to finish all of my items on a punch list after the job was done.<br></p> <p>I 100% recommend Dave and Procrete for hardscaping, paver and concrete work.<br></p>"

"I contacted Ron to come out and give me an estimate for new concrete around my new pool. His price was very reasonable for all the work that needed to be done. They removed all my old concrete, disposed of it and leveled out the remaining dirt/sand. Ron and his men were great! They were able to work around my new pool that was installed, and filled the concrete up right up next to the coping. They they were always on time, and I had no problems with them whatsoever. They had everything completely finished as was quoted on his estimate sheet. They took care not to let any newly poured concrete into the new pool that was already filled with water. I would highly recommend Ron and his men for anyone looking for concrete work in and around their house. (Delayed post from 2017.)"

"First, we have not had good luck with any kind of help. They either or late getting back to us or over-priced. I called Derek of Mr. Handy and set up a Sat. estimate. He showed up right on time , gathered all the info (msmts,material,etc) & said he would email us an estimate in a couple days. 2 days later the estimate arrived & we considered it reasonable. After giving him the go-ahead he he said he could start within a week to 10 days. Our place is a shore condo & we are not there during the week so we provided a key. 2 weeks later we went down to see a finished job that looked better than we imagined. To install the new floor he had to tear up the old one which is a messy job. The kitchen was in clean, pristine condition after he was done. The entire job was paid for after completion. "Pete came out and talked to me, then even let my wife and I come to his house one evening to see some sample concrete work. For the job, he and his guys showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, and I can't tell you how many times he brought me out, discussed options (like colors etc) and even created a small sample "work pad" where he could play with some color so i could see it before we decided. He was truly patient and careful. Of course, the real issue is - how did the job turn out? Frankly, it's beautiful. Really, there's definitely some artist in this guy because it's just eye-catching. Everyone comments on it. He also does all the little extras, like keeping the site clean between days, and leveling the ground so it all looked nice when done. (And throwing down some grass seed on new soil - which we didnt even discuss in advance.) I think he's just a nice guy trying to make a living doing something he enjoys. If stamped concrete is what you want, you can't go wrong here. Now i will add, i tried calling him to get a quote 2 months prior, and never got a call back. I then made arrangements with another contractor, and right at the end, things fell thru. So i had to wait a bit and then thought i'd try Precision again.. This time he called back. I didn't bring it up but he did mention at some point "I was so busy this summer, i had to stop returning calls." I guess that's a good thing - you know he's well liked. But just a warning, you might need to pick your time of year carefully, if you want to get thru. I do wish he would have someone call back and say "hey, can it wait a month?" I would have felt better about that. But still, he was worth the wait."

"Dave figured out the best solution.  He and his worker dug the trenches and covered the pipes with the patches of grass after they installed the pipes, pump, & pop-up drain.  It was a very professional job and works great so far.  I have not seen the yard flooded since he did this work.  He kept in touch with me by phone and email since I was not there the whole time as it is my summer home.  <br /> This is the third time I had Dave back to do work.  I had major damage from Hurricane Sandy and on 4/13/13 he also did work for me.  He worked in my crawl space.  He replaced insulation, cleaned joists with an antimicrobial agent and then painted them with antimold resistant paint, replaced a vapor barrier, installed a sump pump, repaired foundation vents, and filled cracks in my foundation.  All for a resonable price!  Dave is honest, fair and very professional.  He always returns my calls in a timely manner.  I will call on him again for future work. <br />"
