"The repair was to an old 40 year old Peach Tree sliding glass door at our beach condo no longer was sliding well. It was diagnosed over the phone and quoted on the first telephone call. Alex and his helper came when they said they would be there. They replaced the door rollers and the roller rail the door rolls on at the bottom of the frame. Original parts were aluminum and replaced with stainless steel. The whole effort took a little over an hour as quoted. Our second door doesn't get used as much and if it needs repair in the future I know who I will call. Satisfied Customer."

"John was available within a few days to do initial inspection. He pointed out several areas where water was entering my basement, listed areas that needed investigation, made suggestions for ensuing our basement doesn't get anymore water in it with explanations that made sense.
We agreed on a price and a written estimate was sent shortly.  Melissa (desk/receptionist) was responsive and checked regularly to see how i was liking my service and that I'd gotten her e-mails).  Work included: removing portions of non-functioning interior tile drain system, exterior french drain system install, re-routing of gutters, investigating random water pipes going into ground and re-routing as needed, rubber caulk on cracks in basement flooring, remove old insulation, dry-lock basement walls, investigate and seal spaces along exterior walls that allowed water in, microbian spray... etc.
Work was completed and the people were friendly, hardworking. I'd find them working still at 630 pm.
When work was completed, they were a bit 'pesky' about payment - either they thought I wasn't going to pay, or they weren't communicating with each other because between John and Melissa's calls and emails, I was contacted about 6 times in less than 36 hours for the final installment payment (even starting 12 hours before work was complete).  That said, MJ's still followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the work.  And a 5yr guarantee my basement won't have water is worth it to me.
Secondly, I got a carpet cleaning.  I needed an extra deep cleaning, but the results were EXCELLENT.  Mike (the carpet guy) left a small puddle on my linoleum floor (probably from cleaning or emptying the carpet machine).  I told Melissa that i would have been VERY p***** if I'd had wood floors there & the puddle had been left for who knows how long until I came home from work.  She apologized. I'll be sure to rush home though to ensure there are no puddles left on
my wood, but the cleaning of the carpet was excellent.  I will use the carpet cleaning services again.
All in all - I would DEFINITELY use MJ's for basement, carpet cleaning and general home repairs.  John was knowledgeable, personable and explains everything in language you can understand.  I also find their prices reasonable.  He also is able to provide quotes for various work around the house - I DO expect to use MJ's for other projects around the house."
