"I signed the contract for replastering my pool for $9,300 with Alex on April 4, 2025. All the contractors talked about the length of the project to be 2 – 3 weeks. The payment terms were 50% upon demo, and 50% upon completion. I left the time of completion empty, because naively I thought that they would be eager to complete the job. My ratings are: Price 5 star; Quality of work 5 star; scheduling of work 2 star. Average rating 4 star. Alex was eager to do the demo, because this triggers the first 50% payment. Demo was done on April 16, 2025. We also amended the contract to install new lights ($1,200) and replacement of Deck O Seal ($1,800). New contract price $12,300.
