"Regarding the first job to replace the shower door rollers, David called me the night before to confirm what was needed and said he would call me the next morning when he was on his way. He arrived on time and immediately got to work. Because of the design of the shower door assembly, Dave had to remove both doors and since I had already purchased replacement roller wheels, I decided to replace all the roller wheels on both doors. The doors now work perfectly. The second time I called was to fix the casement window in my living room. The lock handle broke off with the window in the locked position. I spoke to Daniel McElreavey to set up an appointment and was told he doesn't do work in Philadelphia, but he had a handyman he works with and would relay my problem to him. He said he was meeting up with the handyman in about 1/2 hour that same day and told me to email him pictures of the window and lock, which I did. I never heard back from either Daniel or the handyman and that is why I gave such a low rating."

We went with him and he completed the job in just a few hours. He even told us the outlet it was plugged into looked bad and installed a new outlet for free. John is a reliable guy and a good worker. "Howard came and looked at the issue and gave me an estimate. Once I contacted him to schedule the appointment, I received an appointment in less than a week. The door sweep was an add-on on that he fixed that same day for one of the doors. The other door we had to research and find an appropriate door sweep. He helped me find the door sweep and it was ordered online. Once it came in, Harold installed within a couple of days. For some reason the first caulk did not work on my shower tile. Harold came back and fixed within one week with a different caulk. This caulk is working fine. I was happy with the service and would definitely use Howard again."

"About a month after the inspection, I met with a different company representative.  I found the rep to be aggressive in the sales pitch.  I had the window replacement removed from the quote but went with the spray-in insulation for the basement and the attic and a door stop and 2 insulated doors.  The workers who did the installation were very professional and did a complete walk thru with me.
My issue with the Mark Group was arranging for payment.  I normally due electronic bank transfer for most of my purchases and have rarely had an issue.  The reps at Mark Group had never heard of a electronic bank transfer.  I called the company several days after I transferred the money for the deposit to arrange the date for the work.  Mark Group refused to schedule a date since they did not have any records of payment.  Usually I have never had any issue with scheduling a date and the reps refusal to discuss a date was very annoying.  I guess that as long as you pay with paper check, money order or cash, you won't have any problems.

The work they did was paint the kitchen, living room and dining room walls/plus accent walls, and stairway hallways. What a difference this made. Everyday they arrived on time, were professional, friendly and worked very diligently and efficiently all day long. At the end of the day, Davin would walk me though the work they did, and review what they were doing the next day. I'm very particular and have to say the workmanship was outstanding. The first day I hung out a bit and observed their work, but after that, I knew I could fully trust Davin and his team to come in and do their thing. The job took three days from start to finish. I'm sure with other contractors, this would have stretched out to a week or two. A couple things that really stood out was when I asked for their input on certain decisions, they offered honest responses. They weren't afraid to let me know why a certain idea would or wouldn't work. And then we worked together to make final decisions. Another thing was on occasion, Davin would have me come check colors, or the look of something before they got too far, to ensure I was happy. If something needed tweaking, they didn't hesitate. I highly recommend this company!"
