"Ivan came out to replace our garage trim due to squirrel damage and did a fantastic job. He was timely, responsive, and easy to communicate with where I had questions. Very easy to work with Ivan. Squirrel crisis averted and garage looks very good - high quality job by Ivan. I also had Ivan look at an ice damn issue we have been having on a section of our home. Ivan assessed the insulation, showed me the issue with lack of insulation (there was only 3 inches) and the building standards, gave me a fair price on insulating, and a week later he has insulated this section of our home. I am confident this will take care of our ice damn issue. I also could not believe this was not caught when we bought our home and again had insulation checked by a company last year after paying $3000 in ice dam removal. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"The mold was removed.  However, the contractor was supposed to replace some insulation that was removed for cleaning. That
 insulation has not been replaced.  Also, a roll of carpeting was taken from the basement after he was instructed to not take it away.

In phone calls and texts he had informed me that he had the roll of carpet and would return it and re-install the insulation, and has yet to do so several months later.

I would not recommend this contractor.
