"Should you need a great contractor? My husband and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with Pro Warrior Painting and Construction. Living in Newburyport our large wooden deck had seen it’s day and we knew the time had come to completely replace it. Yann the owner, from day one was personable, professional, prompt and a perfectionist. He and his crew went out of their way to get our deck done within budget and in a timely manner. We never felt forced or pressured into making decisions, but were encouraged to make decisions together for this project. Yann’s work ethic really was above and beyond what we expected. It was a tough work with demo and complete rebuild, but everyone on his crew had a very positive attitude and worked very hard until all of the work was done! It’s obvious he has had these guys working for him for a long time as the daily moral was high and they all worked together seamlessly, with an obvious tone of mutual respect. These guys worked, day-in and day-out, to get work done in a timely fashion, often working very long days. They were meticulous workers ensuring everything looked perfect. "The result was fantastic. Went extra steps to take care of things. Had the whole house and garage done. Very efficient, diligent and detail-oriented crew. Got 4 quotes and these guys were in the middle. Went with 50 yr GAF HDZ architectural. Clean-up after was great. Company communication was good. I'd recommend them. Had to have 5 sheets of plywood added or replaced. At $75/sheet (1/4 or 3/8") it seems a little excessive but I understand overhead costs. All good."

"It went incredibly well. I woke up one morning to a leak in my roof. I knew the roof was going to need to be replaced at some point, but I was hoping I'd get another year out of it. The roof was in bad shape when I bought the house. I immediately started calling all of the roofing companies I could find on Google. It was early so I was leaving voicemails. Kasey from James and Whitney was the first and only one to get back to me in a timely manner. He was incredibly helpful on the phone, walking me through how to put a tarp over the impacted area. He even swung by later THAT DAY to check and make sure it was installed properly and to assess the roof. I knew it needed to be replaced so we went right into talking about estimates. The estimate was within my budget but the new roof came with a FIFTY-YEAR WARRANTY for parts and labor. You just can't beat that kind of warranty on an asphalt roof. We were scheduled within a week and I had a brand new, perfectly installed roof within a month. Kasey and his team were super respectful during the installation. When the installation had finished, Kasey inspected every inch of my property to pick up any tiny bits of trash and leave our lawn spotless. The whole process was so easy and stress-free. 10/10 would recommend!"

"We had Tim and his team work on a full re-model In Greenland, NH. This was a full gut job as the house needed major repairs and updates. What we got in return was a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath condo on one side and a 1 bedroom and 1 bath on the other side! "The initial job was to install soffit under the large roof overhang. The roofing is angled. Where the angle edges met there was a 1" gap. The gap leads directly into the attic allowing cold air, insects and small animals in. That was insulated before the soffit installed and sealed over the gap. I had another contractor do my siding and their work was amateurish and poorly done in a number of places. TDL cleaned up the poor workmanship and replaced sections of the gutters damaged by the previous contractor. TDL's repairs were done well and improved the look of the siding errors. Very pleasant to work with. Explained all the changes they were going to make verifying we were completely on the same page. Suggested alterations which turned out great. Paid attention to the details which improved the look and functionality."

"The crews did a fine job removing worn cedar siding and installing new Everlast composite siding onto one side of my home. My issue is with the project management. The contract was written to install new siding to match the profile configuration of the remaining walls, namely 4-1/2â . On the day the crew began to install the new Everlast I had something to do in the morning and did not arrive home until after the crew had already begun to install the Everlast. The moisture barrier had been installed, which was fine, but to my shock, the siding that they were installing was 6-7/8â Everlast and not 4-1/2â . Fortunately they had only installed two courses at that point. The workers contacted the project manager and stopped work. The explanation I was given was that the warehouse sent the wrong siding (I find that unlikely. More likely the wrong siding was ordered by United). Fast forward a full week, the correct siding was delivered. Keep in mind that it was necessary to have Solar Panel electrical meters removed in order to facilitate the new siding install. During the down time I was not generating any solar electricity so time was money, in this case. When the project was originally scoped out by the on-site appraiser, I mentioned that there was an area where the plywood sheathing had rotted, due to rain getting under a carriage light. He assured me that replacing bad sheathing was all part of the job. I also mentioned this to the project manager when he came out to my home prior to work beginning. I even wrote a reminder note, with a magic marker, on the old siding at the area that needed the sheathing replaced. Well despite my best efforts, the rotted sheathing was not removed and the new siding was installed over that rotted sheathing. I knew there was a problem when I pushed against the mounting pad for the carriage light and it was wobbly. The crew had attempted to anchor the mounting pad using screws, instead of nails, but of course they were just screwing into rotted plywood. When I spoke to the project manager I told him I did not want any siding removed to address the plywood issue. I told him that I would personally attempt to correct the mounting pad problem by working from inside the garage interior wall. Per my request he agreed that United would lower the price of the job from $13,300 to $13,000 to reimburse me for my time to correct the problem. Well, my credit card was charged for the full $13,300. I left a voice mail with the project manager and asked him to correct the credit card charge. Itâ s now been two weeks and my credit card has not been credited with the $300 correction. The other day I spent about three hours fixing the mounting pad by securing it to the interior sheet rock. The new carriage light is now firmly installed. IN CONSLUSION: If you choose to go with United Home Experts I strongly recommend that you consistently keep an eye on their work during all phases of the project and do not use a credit card to pay but instead write out check(s)."
