The Kimbro Family has been established in the Nashville metro area since 1944, starting with Kimbro Electric with MP Kimbro at the helm. In 1972, his son, Bobby Kimbro, started his own business, Kimbro Air after working many years in the family business. As Kimbro Air grew, Bobby passed his business ethic onto his son, Derek Kimbro. Derek built his knowledge in the heating and air conditioning industry enough to open his own company in 1996, Kimbro Services. After 8 years of running his own business, Derek bought out his father and Kimbro Air. Today, Kimbro Air continues to grow in the Hendersonville, Gallatin and metro Nashville area. The business today currently holds 17 employees, with several of them holding over 10 years tenure.

"Overall we are happy with the work done. One of the things that most impressed us is that our call was returned promptly and we received the promised quote promptly as well. This is in stark contrast to the other ( all A rated ) providers we called, many of whom either never bothered to return our initial call or send us the promised quote after reviewing the job. Work was done as agreed, no surprises."

"Their's was not least expensive bid, but went with them based upon reviews. Work began on 12/20/17 with electricity turned off at 9 a.m. not to be restored for 30 hours.....refrigerated food had to be discarded. Their work continued on 12/21 and 12/22. Paneling was destroyed as they accessed wiring. I was not consulted (to be given the option of getting a carpenter to carefully remove paneling so that it could be replaced) before reciprocating saw tore into wall leaving a pile of dust on floor and on furniture. No attempt made to lay sheeting to minimize impact. Although electrical work was completed on 12/22, insulation that was removed was not replaced until 1/3....leading to very cold air coming into house during coldest weather of the winter. Contacted 6 contractors for wall repair....all have told us that it will be impossible to match the 25+ yr old paneling...patching will have to be custom made. Nova only offered 18% credit to compensate for damage, lost food, time/effort in securing a contractor to repair damage, etc. Gave Wayne the final payment today (1/26). To this point, it appears the electrical work has been completed correctly. However, the collateral property damage incurred has led me to submit this less than favorable review. Photos attached. ***Update to the service provider's reply***: In response to the company stating that the contractor has not been contacted by me. I did call and leave a message but never got a response from the contractor. I ended up contacting 5-6 other people and finally found a carpenter to do the repair work. From a technical standpoint, it seems that the work was done correctly, it was the process and the damage that was done that I have an issue with."
