"At first their were asked to replace and update the lighting in the kitchen and out door lights by the garage. Their prompt and professional work was excellent. So I had them paint the interior of my house, replace my fence gate and repair my shed door. ALL the work was exceptional and I would highly recommend them to anyone."

"The yard prep the day before and the sod install the day of took several hours each since there were so many roots in the area that we needed taken care of. They were very detailed in telling us how to take care of the zoysia and make sure it blends into our current lawn properly. This included watering instructions, laying sand as well as mowing/handling instructions. So far-it looks great. <br />"

"<p>I have always been happy with them. I pay $200 a month, yearly. If I need extra service they are always available although it costs extra. Sometimes I have to call them and ask them to do things because some of the workers do not take the initiative to do things. I have checked around for prices and they are all about the same. They keep raising the price every year and that upsets me because I don't get a raise and I don't understand why they should raise the price every year. They pretty much come every Tuesday or Wednesday. </p>"

"We hired them because they proposed a creative but sensible plan to update our 30 + year old residence at a competitive price.  They have now completed the project and their execution of the plan showed professionalism and competence. <br /> They were easy to work with, worked hard, creative, punctual, easy to reach and came when asked.  Most importantly they produced a great final result on time and without the costly add-on's that so many contractors try to work into the job. <br /> I judge them as honest, hardworking and professional. <br />"

"We couldn't be happier with the results and with the service we received. The crew was friendly and professional and got the work done very quickly. I had been dreading having the driveway done as I thought it would be very disruptive and messy. Mr. Storey's crew hauled off all the debris and left the place looking perfect. They went above and beyond when they fixed our sidewalk as well."

"We hit a rainy period, but allowing for those days, the project ran on time, the crew was professional and courteous. The deck looks great. I had an idea of what I wanted, which elements (pergola, open benches, swing) but Ben did the actual design. They also built a dock launch at my lake edge for the kayaks. The fence has been repaired, they don't normally work on just fences, but did my repair as part of the larger project. The gate will be installed in a few days along with the bench seats, they ran just short of the Choice Dek to finish those. <br />"

"<p>I enjoyed the process, they were super helpful, I loved the nursery they have to walk through to see the plants your are discussing  After just buying a home I didn't have the money to pursue at this point.</p> <p>I didn't get any other quotes so I assume this was a fair quote since so many people in my neighborhood use them.</p> <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Olive Branch, MS

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
