"I’m not quite sure what is taking so long to get any updates from this company. I’ve been waiting for an update on the siding being painted, touch ups they missed to be fixed, have their interior team fix the walls their crew punched nails through the wall, broke the frame of our kitchen window, and pick up the materials that have been blocking our driveway since the start of the project. It took them three weeks from the initial pick up date I was given for their team to pick up and confirm that the honey bucket had been taken from our property. Of course I had to call them to follow up and actually get it picked up. All of this to basically summarize that if you want your siding done in a timely manner and to work with a cohesive team that values communication and their customers as much as theirs salesman Brad told us they do, then find another company aside from Pacific Exteriors."

"With many roofing companies as possible options for our roof replacement selecting a contractor can be challenging. Patriot Roofing performed all aspects of the project flawlessly. Communication was great all the way through, I really liked the text message updates. The crews were very polite, a pleasure to have around, I mean they all really were great! As a contractor in a previous life, I seem to pick things apart, or so I'm told, I tried but there really was nothing to pick apart. "DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. 7 years ago they installed metal roofing on our new construction made with SIPS. Our contractor provided manufacturer installation instructions. Early work began fine and their process was signed off by our contractor. Then multiple crews came through, who apparently did not get the message. A metal roof on top of SIPS SHOULD HAVE LASTED 50 YEARS. NOW we're having to replace our roof at a greater cost than out-of-state college tuition. The new roofers are having to scrape rotted OSB from the foam insulation, completely negating the SIPS warranty and littering the neighborhood with the rotten debris. The analysis is that Forever Roofing (1) installed the Tiger Paw sheeting incorrectly and (2) did not bend the top of the metal panels up under the roof peak, both of which allowed water to enter. FURTHERMORE, after letting water in, they blocked off any egress at the bottom of the roof with wood blocks between the staves. Eventually water sat in there for years until the soffits started popping off. One of the Forever Roofing managers came by to take a look at the damage and essentially washed his hands of the business - no integrity for workmanship. RUN AWAY - "Forever" is an utter misnomer."

"Phillips Design was painting the exterior of neighbor's house. Because of an injury, I had been unable to finish staining a portion of one side of my house tha I had begun the previoius summer.. So, I wandered next door and spoke with one of the painters, Jude. Jude said it was something they could handle and took a look. He said he would have his father, Ben, send me a bid. Within two hours I received the bid, which was reasonable, and accepted it. I had the stain on hand and the next day day the job was started and completed. The cedar siding was weathered and took more coats than expected,. However, Jude kept at it and stayed until 6PM on a Friday evening to get the job done right. His commitment to perfection was admirable. The match to the previous work than I had done was spot on. I highly recommend Phillips Design."

"If your blood pressure is unnaturally low, and you are in absolutely no hurry for the work to be done, and you enjoy working with companies that ignore you for weeks on end-- by all means, call these guys! Very poor communication, and their scheduling promises are worthless. After months of delays, we had many tense phone calls (all made by us--they never called), pointedly asking when they would be here. They started trying to guilt us by saying they would have to reschedule other jobs (were these new jobs, or jobs for clients who had been waiting longer than the 4 months we did...?) and finally arrived to reroof our house. It took them a couple ( non-consecutive) days, but the roof looked a little unfinished, and they left power cables just draped around the guttering. Another call to ask if they were coming back-- dispatcher now openly snarky. Eventually, Don came back to see what we were talking about and ended up spending hours here (we could see him on the Ring) fixing what the crew had left. The roof looks fine now, but the neighbors who recommended them are horrified that their company was so difficult. Not the neighbors' fault-- it sounds like standards have definitely slipped at United Roofing Solutions."
