"Chris came On Weds. Spent 45 minutes in the crawl space to determine what would be required. The company came the very next day to clean out the wetness and set up the drying fans and dehumidifier. Prompt and courteous, and if God forbid another situation like this occurs I will not hesitate to hire Paladin again! I made a claim to the insurance company and they sent a company to check out the issue 3 weeks later. They had a year’s guarantee on their work, but that just ran out and I am now past the window. They charged me $985 since it was a very involved plumbing job and not a simple problem. There was another plumber who came out to my house and told me that these guys weren’t even plumbers and shouldn’t have done that kind of work. They had a nice advertisement and they came in a very nice truck with the logo on it as well. I thought Mr. Rooter Plumbing was a professional outfit and they were, but they weren’t actually plumbers. They don’t actually have a plumbing certification. I explained the problem to Mr. Rooter Plumbing. I knew that it was going to be a big expensive thing and I had about $800 in my mind. So, I wasn’t mad when they told me that it would cost $985. Their pricing was fair. They had a notebook with everything that you could do. They could check it out and do it. It looked like they were a professional organization. They are using a similar name of a franchise. They came with all their equipment. They cut holes in my ceiling between two levels in my house. So, it was a really huge thing and I thought that most plumbers wouldn’t be able to do it. They got it done and so far it has been good. They did do a good job, but it wasn’t cheap. Their work is still intact and it has been over a year. They did know what they were doing even though they weren’t plumbers. They just didn’t have a plumbing certification and the other plumbers in the area don’t like that. However, they did the service that they came to do and they did it well. They showed up in a large truck with all kinds of plumbing equipment on it. I think they had about $50000 to $80000 worth of equipment on their truck. I thought the price was high, but I had an emergency. They came out the same day I called them. Whereas the others said that they would come out in 2 or 3 days. I would probably not use their services again and I am going to use a master plumber for any other plumbing problem. I am going to use someone who is actually a plumber. I don’t know if Mr. Rooter Plumbing would have stood behind the guarantee if something bad would have happened.

"I called Green Homes, Home Depot, and Comfort for estimates.  Prices for Green Homes and Home Depot were nearly identical.  Green Homes took more time to explain the features of the windows, show a sample, give considered opinons on options when I requested them, and didn't have extra costs that Home Depot did.  I ended up cancelling the comfort estimate.  I've used them before, and was happy to try someone else. 
They came out right away for the final measurement and gave a tentative date for install.  I called a week or so later, and they confirmed the date, which was only about 3 weeks.  Just after 5 on the Friday before the install I realized I never got a confirmation call, and they were closed so I couldn't call.  But no worries, at about 8:30 Monday morning they pulled in.  Jeff, Jeff, and Mark were great all day.  They did the rooms that I needed done first first, and the room that I  needed last last (moving some furniture around).  They got the inside work on the 12 windows, including trim replacement, done day 1.  Day 2 they arrived again about 8:30 and quickly installed the slider door, then began the outside wrapping.  In the pouring rain.  They're due back for about 1/2 day tomorrow to finish the wrapping outside. 
The windows seem like very good quality.  They missed the grids on 1 window, but the guys knew it and told me as soon as they arrived on day 1.  They installed the wrong window, and will be back out when the correct one is received.
I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again for service.
