"Dave Garlock and CNY Water Warehouse is fabulous.!!  He knew exactly what we needed, didn't try to over sell us or over price things, did a masterful job of installing the system sensitively in the basement of an 1810 building, worked to ensure we understood everything and helped facilitate the process with the County/State Dept. of Health.  He knows his business inside and out, was personable and easy to work with, a great communicator and went out of his way to make this project a success for us.  I would quit my job tomorrow if it meant I could work with him at CNY Warehouse....no joking!.   <br />"

"It went better than I could have hoped for! My house is 99 yrs. old and had the original foundation which was crumbling badly. I also needed to have a sump pump installed as there never was one. I was told at the initial meeting that it was probably going to be a 2 day job, everything was done, and done well in 1 day! Ron, Marie, Tony and the rest of the team from B-Sure were prompt and professional from the initial meeting to assess what was needed to the finish product. They were friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had. I would hire them again in a second!"

"This is the third time I've called these guys. First time was a leaky outside host faucet. Second was a leaking water line in the basement (they fixed it AND put in a shutoff for nothing extra to make it easy if they ever need to come back). Today was a backed-up sewer line causing all kinds of terrible in my basement. As usual, great job. Very reasonable price. Ended up prioritizing me because of the problem which was great. Great advice for going forward. I trust these guys. Advert magnet stays on my fridge for exactly this reason. Thanks guys!"

"Shutes Lafayette Well Drilling did an extensive amount of work and they did an awesome job. They told me exactly what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Actually, I was at work. My son was at home. He was here and he related on him. He talked to me and got on the phone with me. They were very, very good and extremely knowledgeable. If there was a mess or spills, they made sure they cleaned it up. There's nothing that I didn't like. The fact that it was an emergency situation on a Monday morning, they came right out. The price was a bite for me but it was reasonable. My son was very impressed with them."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Oneida, NY

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
