"Jud and his employee, Matthew, were wonderful in every way possible. When Jud came by for an estimate, he took detailed notes about just what we wanted him to do. He emailed us back promptly with an estimate and later to arrange an appointment. They arrived on time and went right to work. They were efficient, thoughtful and just pleasant to have in the house.

As mentioned above, Jud rescued the powder room from the debacle left by the previous contractor. When he finished the repair of the papering, it went from being an eyesore to a beautiful room. Matthew built a stellar shelf unit for the bathroom from the oak boards that we had purchased for this project. Though we had planned to apply staining ourselves, he went ahead and chose the perfect color of stain and then applied it.

Fixing the upstairs window was a difficult job made even more complicated as that window is actually set in the shingles of the hip roof that covers that portion of the house. The drywall below had been damaged by water seepage.  Jud went ahead and removed the damaged wall board and repaired the drywall. It looks absolutely perfect.

Jud and Matthew were careful not to make any messes and were adament about cleaning up any debry that was caused in the process of the work. When I discovered Jud on his hands and knees washing the bathroom floor with a sponge I attempted to get him to forego that task. He would not listen to me as he insisted that the clean-up was all part of the job.

Did I mention how articulate that they both are? Jud, a father of eight children, is a graduate of Virginia Tech.  Two of his children  are currently university students.

We have other projects needed to be done in the house. I am happy to know that whenever we decide to have the work done that no other company but Artistry Painting will be doing the work. My husband and I can rest assured that all will be done perfectly and at a reasonable price.

Fred and his helper built a level wood base & and assembled/installed a 4'x8' garden shed which I had purchased at Sam's Club.
