"Homeowners, stay far away from Safeguard Roofing. This has been the most dishonest and dangerous contractor experience we?ve ever had. They tried to force us to pay an unauthorized almost $10,000 ?extra wood and flashing? charge that was never approved, documented, or consistent with our contract. When we refused to pay a fake invoice, they stopped work, left our roof tarped for weeks, and interfered with the permit. Then it got worse. Their crew entered our property without permission and tried to remove roof tiles we already paid for, claiming they were ?wrong,? which we later proved was false. Earlier they also tried to add a surprise $6,000 chimney charge after saying it was included. The pattern: surprise charges, false statements, withheld work, pressure tactics, trespassing, attempted removal of paid materials. We documented everything. If you value your home, safety, and sanity?do not hire Safeguard Roofing."
