Leveling , brushing and special stamping completed before the heat of the summer day. Job site left clean as well as washing down the street to assure a clean looking neighborhood. "With JLP Unlimited, Jared is the one who dealt with us start to the end. He was very professional when he came to our house to give us a bid. He seemed well experienced to let us know the process and turn around time. We weren't planning on doing ceiling but he convinced us to repaint and I am so glad that he did! The rooms are so much brighter and I was shocked the color difference of before and after!  He was on-time and clean up was spotless and I was very impressed because you hear so many horror stories about that. I loved our finished project!! I love my new trim works in all the rooms and doors. He even helped us picking out a color using a designer! "Randy came out to quote us for cement apron and asphalt driveway giving an idea of how much our neighbor's portion of the shared entry was.  He listened to our concerns regarding drainage and presented reasonable solutions.  Unfortunately, it was a bit out of our price range and something we wouldn't benefit from since we were selling our house.  He gave us the option of just replacing our apron, sidewalk, and step.  Based on how much the original concrete sunk, we found out we really only needed one step to get into the front door instead of 2.  The guys came to do the work and got it all done in one day.  They did a great job and While out checking on the guys, Randy pitched in and swung the 20 lb sledge hammer with the young ones.  A team effort where you can see how much pride Randy and crew has for each job.  Thank you and see you at our next house!

"It went great! Another company had cleaned our chimneys for $300, told us that they were not safe to use, and given us an estimate of $7,100: $4,000 for installing flue liners and $3,800 for building a new chimney crown with a $700 multi-repair discount. They did give us a good picture of the chimney crown and an explanation for why it should be replaced. (See Chimney-Before picture provided by this company.) I was suspicious about the cost and went to Angie's List to find a chimney repair company. When I talked with Joe (the owner of Metro Chimney & Masonry) about wanting a second bid, he immediately said that a lot of companies are proposing unnecessary work to install flue liners. I had not said anything about flue liners. I then said there was an estimate for a new chimney crown as well and sent him the picture. He then said that it looks like work is needed, and he sent me an estimate. Based on his Angie's List profile, we knew we wanted Joe's company to do the work. What I have found is that those service providers who have mostly A ratings but a few F ratings are dealing with real customers rather than friends and family posting fake reviews. Anyone doing business is going to run into people who get upset or who think they know how to do the work better than the provider. I told Joe that the few F ratings added to his credibility. What happened after we got the bid? We said we wanted the work done. Joe said he might be able to fit it in this year but more likely in the spring. He said we could use the chimneys in the meantime. It turns out he had an opening in his schedule and was able to do the work in mid-October. It looks very professional. (See Chimney-After picture.) We were very pleased and just wished he also had people who cleaned chimneys!"
