"Brian LaValle is a God Send!! Bought my home for under 20k and Brian has done everything from the basement to the roof!!! Drive by and Look at It. 705 Lundy St Streator. It sat for 5 1/2 years after a destructive foreclosure. There was no bathroom! Everyone Loves my bathroom now. The house looks Modern and heâ  s SO professional and comfortable and has been working on my home for well over a year so we pitched him keys to the house. I slept in the other day while him and his crew, always making sure my cats donâ  t get out, installed my laundry room floor. Never thought something like that could happen! Grade A work! Im So Proud of my house! This guy Checks My House to assure itâ  s sound and safe! The addition was attached to the original house. My roof was stressed and leaking. He â  tiedâ  (their lingo) the 2 lil houses together. Now Iâ  m saving up for him to do the roof. I flipped and remodeled 4 homes of my own when I was younger. This guy is the best. I humbly admit. "Unprofessional, untimely, poor workmanship, stressful experience. Shawn did a LVP flooring install on two levels of my house, including the kitchen. Almost $8K for 1K SF. Flooring failed 1st time due to no subfloor leveling despite me asking twice if it was needed. 24 planks in 600 SF were separating in 2 weeks. Once I informed Shawn the floor was failing, his workers tried accessing my garage without permission to get tools. Seemed like they were trying to split on a bad job. Despite the bad job done, I worked with him on cost-effective products to try and save as much money as possible on the rework. Both levels of flooring had issues, but I only asked for main level to be redone. Ultimately, it took 4 months of poor communication and terrible customer service to finally get new flooring installed, still not level but holding????! Ultimately, the new flooring installed was left unfinished, leaving me to install trim, transitions, end caps, stair nosing and caulk on my own."

"Salesman that we were to replace dry wall. Later learned we were to have it removed. Attempts to reach supervisors and owners resulted in zero until time to do installation. Gave $1300+ down. Note: this went to the salesman, not to MABS. Then salesman stated $12,000 more if MABS removed the dry wall. Paid salesman and his friend to remove it but didn't do all of it! Sent certified letters to Cedar Rapids address after we got no verbal responses to phone calls. Later learned they receive no mail there, only in Davenport. Were to have GFI outlet placed at far end of basement. 3 electricians said not possible. Also discharge was to be underground to rear of yard which we thought meant to back! House sits on clay. Was to discharge under ground out 10 feet from house. Canceled installation and have found that other basement waterproofing companies do not require 2.5 feet of dry wall removed: only baseboard. Cost was same as MABS. Now we must pay to have drywall installed after the waterproofing is completed."

"I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of their work. They repainted our kitchen cabinets (among other things). The cabinet doors were not all done well and they agreed to fix/redo a few of them but not all of them. Now we are left with cabinet doors side by side that have very different finishes and are even different shades of white. We’ve asked them to honor their warranty and fix the remaining doors so they are all uniform and they have refused. There were numerous other issues as well such as over spray in many places they spilled paint on our brand new floors and left it to dry they put a small hole in our basement doors and there's uneven paint coverage in alot of places. This stuff they agreed to fix but for some reason still refuses to fix the other half of the cabinets that need correcting."
