"Although we ended up going with a different company to build our deck, I had an excellent experience with Warner's Decking. I am certain their work would have been of excellent quality, and their pricing was competitive. Likewise, their professionalism made this a tough decision. It boiled down to timing - the one other company that I felt would also do excellent work was able to get the deck started/finished sooner."

"I have a 100+ year old house. It had older replacement windows that I had installed when I moved in 40 years ago. They were never satisfactory, but were better than the old double hung ones that were original to the house. I had heard of Ryan's company from a neighbor, and decided to have him out to give me some ideas on how to improve our heating costs. Ryan arrived at the agreed upon time, and we were impressed with his friendly, no pressure approach. He had window cut-away samples and a computer with him. That was a much better idea than just pictures. He took his time measuring all my windows, and taking the time to check wall thickness, and the fact that my house is plastered, and has siding on the outside. His knowledge of construction was impressive. He presented his product in a easy to understand manner, and did not try to pressure me. I believe that he realizes that he has an impressive product, and that it will just about sell itself. We agreed on a price, and a date to begin. The windows arrived on the agreed date. The workers who did the installation were outstanding, and very courteous. They cleaned up after themselves, used drop cloths where necessary, and there was no mess afterward. I should mention that I had gotten other price quotes previous to having Ryan out to our house. I have always thought that a person must sell himself before he can sell his product. The other three companies that were out did not impress me like Ryan did. I spent my whole life in construction, and Ryan's knowledge was the only one I was comfortable with. He has always responded to any questions I have had. The windows that were installed have been perfect as far as I am concerned. <br /> We feel that the low-E glass and the superior frame material have saved us much money in heating and cooling costs. I have a very brittle type of siding on the outside of my house, and the workers took extra precautions to insure that none of the siding was damaged during the replacement process. The worker who oversaw the installation, was a master with the caulking gun. They completed their work in one day."

"From start to finish, this job was done in a professional manner. Great care was taken to ensure that my house and landscaping was protected. Steve (owner) personally supervised the project and took the time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot of them!) before, during and after the project. The roof looks great and seems to be of a high quality - no problems so far. There are a few shingles that have not yet laid completely flat (after 2 days), but Steve assured me that is normal and will be completely flat (from heat and gravity) in month or less (and that they would come back to correct if any do not lay flat after a month). <br /> This was the first time that I needed to have home work done related to an insurance claim, so honestly I did not know what to expect from this industry. What came to my doorstep seemed to be mostly questionable "storm chasers" types, many of which were not local and seemed only interested in knowing how much money the insurance company was paying out to cover the damage. So, I thought to myself, why do they want to know how much the ins company was paying? Shouldn't they honestly determine what my job should cost to do correctly and how much margin they would target making - regardless of ins numbers? Preferred never asked to see the ins numbers during the estimate, so I felt that they were truly looking to do an honest repair to my home regardless of what ins may or may not have covered. <br /> One other note - the roofing crew did accidentally damage my garden's above ground watering pipe, but Steve arranged to send out a plumber the very next morning to fix it! Nice job! <br />"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"Great service and prices. On-time delivery of materials. Our contractor dealt directly with Koolmaster. The contractor said they were great to deal with and he will be using them as much as possible in the future. They had a very good variety and excellent quality of the type of materials he needed and ordering other things was efficient. <br />"

"We began to prepare to lift our house in May, 2011, put in a new basement and add an addition while also gutting the entire first floor and the second floor bathroom of our 100 year old farmhouse. Sam started by repairing sill so the house could be lifted and has helped gut, move walls, build the addition, add new walls, windows, doors, a wood burning fireplace, and so much more. Due to circumstances beyond our control, Sam ended up doing the majority of the building by himself including framing in the entire basement, addition and all structural changes. We ended up replacing the sill around the entire house, insulating, residing, and rewiring everything. Sam has done almost all of the carpentry and finish work of trimming it out. He has always been prompt and pleasant to work with. He listens to what you want and works with you to accomplish things and does not get upset over the constant changes that are an inevitable part of working with an old house and finding all the "patch jobs" and mistakes of former owners or workmen. He has even built pieces entirely from scratch such as my cedar lined window seat and a clothes chute between floors from scratch with no specific plans, but just an idea from my head. He widened all of our doors and helped us to make our entire first floor and basement handicapped accessible. We replaced every door in the house, all the cabinets, reconfigured floor plans, changed floor coverings and moved windows and closets. Sam has worked very well with all the other contractors who came in to do wiring, plumbing, tiling, cabinets and landscaping. He even did the computer work to come up with floor plans when we only had my hand drawn pictures of what i wanted. We are not finished yet and he is still trimming out the final rooms and his finish work is excellent."

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there. We extend our sincere thanks to the team at RetractableAwnings.com, and for those review sites that accept photographs, we include the following photo."
