"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"Met with Chad at my home, he was awesome and very professional! Chad was very detailed about all the steps it would take to replace my roof, I honestly felt at ease with him. I was not pressured in any way to go with their company, He assured me if there were any concerns they would quickly resolved those issues and they did. He was very patient, If I had any questions no matter how many he would answer them. I then met my project manager Brian he was awesome as well! If there were any questions or concerns he would answere them with no problem, if there was any problems he would have them resolved quickly. "It went very well. The owner came out, explained everything in detail. He was not pushy, explained his product and left the decision to us. He was very good about answering questions. He knew his product and knew what we needed. When he came out he already he knew what we could use for our condo. He was very honest about how long we would want to stay there and what we could use or need. He was not pushing any product. He answered all questions we had and had other material in his truck he could show up. He was able to come out when we had time available. They come out and measures the window, then they have the guy that is going to install them measure again and introduces themselves so you know who they will be. "Chris once again came out and gave me a price on doing our daughters bedroom.  We used this company about 3 years ago to pain out our main living areas --- again with CHRIS giving the price's.  We decided to go back to this company, even after getting other quotes that were LOWER in price.
Why?

He pointed out that the other people did NOT include the closet, or the bedroom doors.  That would of been EXTRA --- once the work started.  You know the kind ------ they are working on your home, and before you know it BOOM, here is a added cost for this, or for that!  It's HORRIBLE.
However with this company you do NOT EXPERENCE THIS.  Chris comes in, gives you the GRAND TOTAL --- and covers each and every thing needed, INCLUDED nail holes, closets, doors, trim, YOU NAME IT -- they cover it!
Chris is the reason we gave out there name & number to TWO of our friends -  that called, and indeed used ELYSIUM painting company.  Both friends called me back and LOVED Chris, and the painters he sent over.
Ok, enough on the price & Chis -
Tim.  He came out and got the room ready to be painted.  He took his time --- worked quite (almost too quite, I thought he had left a few times! lol  and then he primed out the room, painted the cealing, did the closet and trim work --- this took most of one day -- as it did not go by the hour -- I did not care.  The next day he came back out with the COLORS --- our daughter was so EXCITED to see her PURPLE room come to life.  Oh and it did!  It's BEAUTIFUL.  One very dark wall of purple --- then 3 lighter walls of matching purple.  The white trim just sets this room off for a very pretty room.  (we wish our bedroom looked this darn good!)  Tim was such a nice man --- he showed us the 'purple princess' room --------- he asked my daughter if it was 'good enough' ------- and would she need anything else?  She smiled big as she was looking, wide eyed (shes 6) and said, oh nooooo, it's BEAUTFIUL!!! He was smiling just as BIG as she was.
He was PROUD of his craft - workmanship - as he should be.  Not one purple dot where white paint is --- no bleeding of colors at all.
Elysium Painting Company is just a name --- but it's people like Chris --- and TIM that make it happen.
Yes, I will use this company again.  They many not be the cheapest (in the middle I would say) but I can TRUST them.  That too me, moves mountains.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
