"When we built a new back stairway to our patio, it was such a pleasure working with Tri County Pros from start to finish. During the estimate process, co-owner Felice Tuttle was responsive, warm, and listened carefully to our needs. Co-owner Cassie set off the construction period with clear communication of what to expect, and checked in often to address questions. And the building crew -- Caleb, Nova, and Andrew -- were efficient, careful, ended each day with a cleanup of the site, and were just a delight to have around. We love the end result â a beautiful upgrade to our old deck, and much safer. I highly recommend Tri County Pros for any work on your home, and look forward to working with them again."

"Wonderful. We originally purchased this Window through Coors 17 years ago. The seal broke and the window was cloudy. I wasn't sure if it had a warranty or for how many years it lasted. I called Coors and they looked up my order and it was covered! They came out with the window installer and made sure everything was right. I did not have to wait very long, they came at a time that was convenient for me and it was done quickly and professionally."

"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

"We were very nervous about taking on such a big project and, being new to the area, did not really have too many people who could recommend contractors. We mainly got names from A's List and I was especially impressed with the information about Mike's company since we are hoping to add a sun room in the near future and someone had reviewed one that he had done. <br /> Mike and his guys were really good working around my nervousness about electrical work (they didn't do anything electrical while we were out of town) - but also had a good time teasing me about my nerves, which in turn made me become more comfortable with what they were doing. They did a great job & somehow managed to turn a really ugly kitchen and awkward hall/entry area into a lovely workable space. All areas are so much more usable and the flow of the kitchen, hall, laundry, entry are much, much better. We have used him again for other projects (see those reviews too) and will have him come out again - hopefully next summer - to do the sun room addition. We recommend him without any hesitation. <br />"

"Mitch was hired to consult and install a wood floor in a workshop loft space that we desired to make into a gym. After inspection of the proposed project space, he provided an estimate which included variations based on the wood options available to him. We selected Ash as we desired a lighter shade of wood and as a tribute to the tree's plight against the Ash Bore. The project was delivered on time and on budget. There were no surprises or variations from the scope and we could not be happier with the results. We received a very high quality product! Very cool to receive a floor constructed from a local tree that became victim of the bore. Mitch and his team are the very best at what they do!"

"To begin with, we had a meeting with Mr. Welty. We told him what we wanted to have done and gave him an idea of the color pallet we had in mind. He made up a plan for us and gave us a proposed quote for the labor and materials we selected. The work was begun a week later, as promised. <br /> A porch on the north side of the house was removed, plus all of the old house siding was taken off. The crawl space under the roof was opened up so that electrical work could be done, including moving lines and updating fixtures. Insulation was blown into the whole house and then it was wrapped with additional insulation. Then came the rebuilding of the north side porch, plus reworking supports on the front porch. Concrete work was done to upgrade sidewalks around the new porch.  New light fixtures were put on both porches.  The house and the garage were reroofed and new siding was put on the house.  All windows were wrapped so we wouldn't have painting to do. <br /> We were also very happy with the workers. They arrived early in the morning and cleaned up the scene before leaving in the afternoon. They all had good attitude and were attentive to any matters we raised.  <br /> We had no complaints about any phase of this project. <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Otterbein, IN

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
