"Like all homeowners finding a competent contractor is difficult. I recently had my home exterior painted and requested a bid from my prior painter and a new company that I found advertised in the Johnson County Home Magazine. Craig Anderson, Residential Solutions, (who I had not met previously) met me at my home and did a very thorough review of my project. He identified damage areas in the siding and trim boards that needed to be addressed. His bid provided details on each of the proposed repairs and on the paint project. He answered all my questions about the type of paint and the repairs. Craig was on the job site a portion of each of the work days. The entire project (minus the earlier siding power spray) was completed in 3 days. His crew also had to work around the gutter project that was being installed at the same time. The crew was hard working and respectful of my property."

Their project manager Brandon Cook arrived promptly on time and made a careful inspection of the garage area and subsequently my basement where I had had a sump pump malfunction and substantial rainwater backup months before. In each case, he dismissed the concern of mold and explained areas where mold might develop and explanations as to what had probably caused the areas of concern. He was very professional, and helpful and reassuring with clear explanations. AdvantaClean did not charge for this inspection. I would definitely hire them if the need arose."

JD and his crew were fantastic! The estimate was competitive with other bidders and we felt the value of their services was very high. We had extensive wood rot damage around most of the windows in our house. JD and his crew were very detailed and careful as they removed the old windows, repaired the wood rot, and installed the new windows. The locations that were leaking before the window installation are leaking no more. Wood Rot Solutions also repaired rot on the exterior of our house, including trim and siding. Everything was caulked well and it was easy for the painters once they arrive. (Note: painting was not part of Wood Rot Solutions scope.) JD and his crew were very professional. They kept the interior of the house clean and even worked around our child's naptimes. We are VERY happy with our new windows.

"Josh and his crew did and amazing job on our home. They did some mudjacking for us and did a phenomenal job. They completed the project in the exact time frame that they said they would. They were extremely respectful and courteous and did a great job keeping us in the loop during the entirety of the project. The price was extremely fair and the necessary damage that had to take place to complete the project was minimal. Other companies had us ripping out tile and bathroom fixtures while Foundation 1 was able to work around it. I hope we won't ever need to use them again, but if anything else happens with our house they will be the first ones we call."

"It was not a quick process because of the water damage and waiting on the cabinets we picked out to ship but overall it was a great experience. Brian, Carlos & Joe were the main workers we had at the house - they were respectable, polite, and very informative - making sure we understood each step of the process. Brian started with the dirty work of removing the water damage, repairing drywall, replacing subfloors, installing laminate plank flooring, adding can lights, and fixing our lose electrical boxes. The cabinets we picked had to be assembled which took a day of work and then Carlos stepped in to complete the cabinets, build our countertops, install baseboards, add hardware, and basically put everything in place. Joe did an amazing job on our tile, AMAZING! We picked a hand sculpted glass tile that was a bit more tedious than we expected but Joe worked his magic and really made the kitchen, the tile is everything I hoped it would be and more - it's the focal point and looks fabulous. Brian helped to finish up the plumbing to get us back in business and Carlos has been worked to wrap up the little details and honey do list of things that needed completed to give our kitchen the finished touch. Everything turned out so well - we did not replace a set of upper cabinets to open the space more and added in a pantry - both Doug's ideas, we are so glad we listened because it changed the whole dynamic of our home. We also went with another of Doug's ideas and added in a breakfast bar which we are loving.
Doug was on top of the project the whole time, keeping us updated and checking in nearly daily. We liked that he let his workers be in charge of the day to day activity though, it made things flow well and allowed us the ability to schedule the next steps with them directly, which worked well with our schedule. Not having done anything like this before was scary but we felt confident in Doug and trusted his word and he proved that he knows what he is doing!
The only real issue we had was with 2 contractors who said they came to our home to work but never showed up, that was an extremely frustrating situation and we thought it would set us back even farther in the time line but Doug stepped up and sent others out right away. It was a frustrating situation for him too but he made it right and got things rolling in the midst of it all. We were very appreciative of his extra effort, especially in a situation that was out of his control. 
We have recommended Leawood Kitchen and Bath to many already and will continue to do so - we will also be using them again in the future as we do more home upgrades. The pricing was fair and below cost for the other estimates we got and the work is quality! Doug's honesty and ideas were a breath of fresh air for us in our messy kitchen, which is now our favorite room in the house!!!"
