"We had some sewage back up into our basement sink on a Saturday morning. I called Clog Busters based on their Angie’s List reviews. They didn’t have a crew available on the weekend, but were available on the following Monday. The crew did a great job explaining the problem and finding a solution for me. Great customer service and they earned their money working in some frigid and snowy weather. I hope to never have another sewer backup, but if I do, I will call Clog Busters."

I can't say enough good things about Tom Allen and his business (including Mike and Carlos with G A Hunt Excavating, who handled the excavation and new drain installation). His prices, professional conduct and quality of work stand alone in the greater Lansing area as far as I'm concerned... and I've dealt with the full spectrum of drain cleaners in the last few years, from the most well known in the area (2 come to mind) to the "craigslist snake dudes." (Just FYI - I'm cross-posting this on google reviews too.) Short story: I called Allen's Sewer & Drain Cleaning to clear and video a partially blocked clay tile main line which ended up needing replacement with PVC. I couldn't be happier with Tom, his prices or his conduct. G A Hunt Excavating out of St. Johns did a great job with the excavating. Long Story: I own a home with lots of trees on site and a (formerly) clay tile main line that I've had snaked annually by a variety of people over the last 6 years in the house. After repeated issues within the month of Nov and Dec 2016 I called Tom after a google search turned up all the positive reviews you're reading. Maybe I just got lucky but he was able to come over later that same day to clear and video/TV the main line. He was very friendly and showed up as promised on schedule. After dealing with so many professional and semi-professional drain folks over the past 6 years I was impressed at the high quality gear he brought over, considering the price he quoted. After clearing the line via basement clean-out he narrated the video exploration of my drain and it was visibly obvious that the clay tiles had reached the end of their service life - a combination of tree roots and failure of the line itself (almost 70 years, not too bad!). We discussed replacement options and I was lucky to find that the excavation crew with whom he usually works was able to squeeze me in the next morning. We kept putting off this replacement because of the anticipated cost and trouble but maybe it was just fate (or at least good fortune) delaying us until I stumbled across Tom Allen. The cost was about half what we had anticipated and took a little over a day from when he walked in the door to when the trench was back-filled. THANKS AGAIN TO ALLEN'S SEWER & DRAIN CLEANING (and G A Hunt Excavating)!! NO MORE ANNUAL SNAKING AND I STILL HAVE MONEY IN MY POCKET!"

"Miteff never called with the quote. Instead, I called asking for the quote multiple times over three weeks, but was always told I would get a call back with a quote in a "couple days". Finally, after weeks of calling, Miteff called about the job, but now seemed to not know precisley what they were providing a quote for. Based on their tone, it was clear they were not interested in the job and it was clear that they had not done enough research to provide an informative and useful quote. I went with Hedlund Plumbing instead. Hedlund got me a quote withing a couples days, were prompt in returning my calls, showed up on time, and did excellent work."

"Old unit was not working and could not be repaired.  The sales rep. explained several options and stated pros and cons.  I chose the high efficient unit.  It has been an excellent choice.  It uses very little salt and provides soft water as advertized.  The installation of the new unit and removal of the old was done without any mess as care was taken by the workers.  All representatives were polite, efficient, and knowledgeable.  Once the salt was removed from the old container, an Aqua Systems representative came the next day after my call to remove it from my basement. "

"<br /> <br /> Saturday: Clogged sewer line which was cleared.... so we thought..Sunday: Sewer line again was clogged, they came out within the hour. This was a no charge call. Upon their arrival I noticed an area in my yard which had standing water. Yep, bigger problems. They helped clear the line again, while I started digging up my sewer line to find the problem. I had dismissed them and kept digging. I brought them back out on Tuesday and they repaired my sewer line and put in a clean-out, outside of the house. Thinking this "might" have fixed the problem, I thanked them and moved forward....The installation of this outside clean-out which cost considerably less than another Plumber, yet I also did most of the digging myself.This also opened up an opportunity to run a camera through and find out why I kept having this backup problem.Next visit, camera wasn't available, but they came out and used a different cutter from outside. This outside location gave us additional reach in the sewer line to make sure it was clear all the way to the city main. The clog was "at" the main, which we were not able to reach previously, because it was over 125'.Long story short, I am very happy with their work. They didn't throw the most expensive thing at me up front, which another plumber did.I am very happy with Drain Works."
