"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"They found that the connection wasn't secure and they were able to fix that. It ended up costing quite a bit less since it wasn't a cracked tank. I had them out two separate times for the work above. The first visit was for the tank and the second time was for all the re-sealing. They did a great job and were very professional. They were also very helpful."

"Eric Higgins and his team did a masterful job for us. Our rental property in Portland suddenly had a burst hot-water heater on the 3rd floor, meaning water damage at every level of the property. Given that we lived on the other side of the country, this was a recipe for disaster. But it wasn't. Right away, Eric and his team made short work of putting together all the pieces. Eric had plumbers in there to replace the hot water heater ASAP; a restoration crew within hours to start drying everything out; and drywall gurus, hardwood flooring experts, and painters to replace what was ruined. Throughout he was very communicative, both with us as the owners and with our renters who were living in the construction zone. Everyone knew what was happening when and why. In the end, we were braced for an astronomical bill (to the insurance agency, of course), because being so far away and in need of quick support, we weren't about to "shop around" for quotes. But Eric charged us completely reasonable rates. Even my father-in-law, a career construction estimator with GC experience himself, said he couldn't be more impressed with the process. We've now since that house (it's been almost a year since the adventure). But if and when we move back home to Portland, and if we buy another place there, we'll definitely be looking to him to help us be good owners."

"Chris Toole repaired the downstairs landings for me that were destroyed when another company came to dry out the basement. They had to take out the tile and look underneath to see if there was any water. So I had Chris repair it so that it was safe, because it was a hole right in the middle. He came out and took care of that for me. He was excellent about everything. We usually never find any mess when he works. He cleaned up after himself anyways."

"I had Vincent out to lift a sagging bay window. He recommended that he use a jack to lift it up (about .25-.5and quot;) and use shims to prop it up. He also went over some more in depth options if this did not solve my problem. He estimated it would take about 2 hours ($150). The job was not an emergency (we spoke in early summer and said we just needed it done and quot;before falland quot;). We discussed it being completed in a month or two. It took a little nudge to get it scheduled, but again, we expressed low priority and we discussed this just before he was on vacation for some time. When we chatted again, he came quickly, did a great job (in less time and for less money than estimated), and followed up to make sure it worked for us right away. <br /> I'd definitely hire him again - it's challenging to find quality help with small jobs like these, but that's usually what I need. Recommended. <br />"

"Nate worked with me to find a door that would fit our oddly-shaped entryway and wouldn't require us to replace the whole frame, which would have been much more expensive. He checked four different vendors until he found what we needed. He was patient and responsive throughout the process, and his pricing was very reasonable. I'd definitely work with him again."

"We can depend of Houston Painting to do a quality job. They are neat, (no cleaning up after them when they leave), always use drop cloths, take down all the hardware (no painting around items). They are respectful of our home and of us. When they finished on the 2011 project of painting a bedroom and a bath, even helped me restore the furniture to their proper places. If there is any minor damage to the walls, they will ask if I want it repaired and then will do the work flawlessly. They arrive to do the work when they say <br /> they will. And will also let you know if there is a change in their schedule. I have recommend Houston Painting to my friends who have been equally satisfied with their work."
