"Part of our home is an 1850 stone farmhouse. The basement walls, two of which are built into a hill, were beginning to crumble and water was beginning to seep in. Edgar didn't just fix the problem, they exceeded our wildest imagination of what those walls could look like. We've been through some serious rain since and they are perfectly dry and look amazing! If the house falls today those two walls will still be standing! Very prompt service, reasonable priced and super easy to work with. We'll be hiring them again for some future stone wall repair upstairs."

"I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

As well as affecting the other neighbors because parking is at a premium at this city location. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."
