He talked a great deal about himself ,family and his roofing experience so we hired him. I was a little disappointed we never received the formal typed contract. "We had inspections and estimates from four highly rated companies appearing on Angle's list and on other sites. Each provided a bid for the same work with similar or identical materials, and found a high degree of consistency among the bids. All four diagnosed the problem as requiring the replacement of the entire roof for the best and most lasting outcome and they proposed nearly identical steps to do the job. All recommended replacing two skylights along with the roof, adding ridge vents in sections where there were none, and noted the likelihood of needing to replace plywood decking in at least some areas. However, Paragon stood out from the others by virtue of the thoroughness of the initial inspection, including dozens of photographs from the exterior and interior (attic), and the care with which the proposed work (both foreseen and potential) was explained, described, and justified. Moreover, once the line of communication was established at the first visit, Mauricio remained available via email, text, and phone for any and all follow-up questions and concerns. The open communication continued through the scheduling, completion, and follow through of the project. Periodic updates, with step-by-step photos, were provided during the work.
