"Great! James identified the problem as an old track that was bending. I was scared it would require a huge hole in the wall of my tenants apartment. James replaced the track with a minimal hole and patched it up in only a couple hours."

"We utilized C&H for several handyman projects in a recently purchased condo, as well as a full cleaning in advance of move in. The handyman project including replacing the door moulding, and putting new thresholds and weather stripping on the doors. Well done! The cleaning was done well, with particularly work well done in the kitchen area, to include dishwasher, oven, stove top, and all cupboards and sink. The owner of the company, Al, is a highly customer centric individual, whom only wants the customer to be well served and completely satisfied in the project results. He met me in advance of the projects and totally understood the work to be done. He was early for the four times we met, his crew was on time, he gets his hands dirty, he is a problem solver, and he is there for the end of the job for final inspection. He is a man of high integrity. I recommend C&H for any handyman or cleaning needs you may have. Start with Al!"

"It went extremely well. Felipe worked on this quickly with another skilled worker (another great, talented, and friendly person). I'm extremely satisfied with the work. He went above and beyond. He's capable of doing everything, and doing it extremely well. I've known him for awhile, for a smaller job he did for my in the past. We live roughly in the same neighborhood. The project included some plumbing replacement, adding insulation, a small roofing project with associated roof penetrations, a brand new kitchen from some cabinets and kitchen hardware I picked out, flooring, floor leveling with concrete, miscellaneous electrical work and improvements to my existing routing (including adding some fixtures), coordination with his countertop subconsultant, plaster repair with drywall, and EXTREMELY good finish carpentry (I can't imagine anyone else who would take the time and effort to do what he did here) I hired him before, I'd hire him again if he'd be interested (it sounds like in a few months we'll have some more work lined up?), and I am recommending him to my other architect friends. He's basically helped me renovate a great majority of my house, and an addition I built myself."

"Marco is amazing! He went above and beyond to make our home look amazing. He's a genuine guy and fixed things in my home that he noticed needed repairs. He didn't have to, but he did it out of the generosity of his heart. I would highly recommend Marco and will hire him every time I need a repair!"

"Arrived on time to provide estimate and few days later to do the work. For the curtain rod his work was excellent. The rod was centered exactly and installed level, he painted the walls with extra paint and must have feathered the edges so well I couldn't tell there had been any recent touchup. He did a great job on the rain gutters & corrected one downspout that was leaking, another downspout was rusting and jammed with debris but he couldn't knock out the debris. Instead of removing the rusted downspout (it was lightweight metal but soddered or attached at top) he just told me he was unable to clean it. He also installed an iron/blown glass sconce on a stucco patio wall and did a great job.I would recommend him but originally I had asked him to help me replace some wood trim on window sills that I had to repair from dryrot, as his profile mentioned woodwork or carpentry, but he wasn't willing to help with the single hung wood windows because he was afraid he didn't have enough experience with that type of work. I think he's a perfectionist of sorts but may be reluctant to try projects he can't "master".

"Mark was really wonderful. My husband had demoed the faux river rock facade off our fireplace surround because it was tacky, but we didn't have much of a plan for what to replace it with. I knew that I liked tile surrounds with wooden mantels, but in the demo some of the bricks of the original surround were damaged and the surface was pretty uneven. I contacted Mark at LA Custom Tile because he's in the neighborhood and asked him how the whole fireplace-tile process worked, and he suggested that I buy the tile I liked and contact him when I had it. So I found a beautiful marble mosaic that was sold by the box. One box was just enough for my surround, but the lady at the store suggested I buy two boxes because most tile setters won't work with fragments of mesh sheets and will just want to use complete mesh sheets of mosaic (creating a lot of wasted tile) rather than piecing sheets together to make the material stretch. Well, since the lead time on the tile was only a few days, I bought just one $300 box and thought I'd see whether Mark was able to make it work. If he couldn't, I could just buy another box later. After the tile arrived, I called Mark and, because of a delay on the big project he was working on, he was able to come do the job the next day at a really great price. He made the single box of tile work, saving me $300 in materials, and he fixed the edge of the firebox, where bricks had been damaged by the demo, with cement. His execution of the tile setting was careful and precise, and I could tell that he took real pride in his work. When a carpenter came to take measurements for the mantel we're having built, he remarked upon what a great job our tile guy had done. Thanks, Mark!"

"We have used him several times and he is great. He is extremely good, very reliable, very careful, and very creative. If you show him something and somebody couldn't fix it, he can figure out a way to do it. I would definitely recommend him. He's very good, easy to talk to, he'll listen and actually try to figure out a way to do what you'd like done. He's unusual, very efficient, and very friendly. He comes prepared to do it, and he does it. The price was very reasonable."
