We brought E T Landscaping in with a wide scope of services to include tree removal and stump grinding, weeding, mulching, aerating, and seeding work as well as putting down some gravel. Upon completion of the work, Julio advised that in order to do it properly, he would need to do some additional work that wasn't originally in scope, but that he wasn't charging us extra. We cannot overstate how much it meant that Julio wanted to do the job well vs. just checking the box. "We had some flooding in our basement this summer/fall due to problems with inadequate drainage in our backyard, including under our deck. Troy gave us an excellent analysis of how to address the problem in the most efficient way. They dug a French Drain system to capture the water from the hill in the backyard that slopes towards the house as well as tying in 2 house downspouts. All of the water is now channeled underground away from the house foundation, which exits from a pop-up drain into a swale. The excavated soil was installed and compacted under the deck and around the house foundation and sloped to prevent water from reaching the house. He also connected us with his deck sub-contractor to remove the deck boards (necessary for the work) and then replace them afterwards. All the work was scheduled and completed in timely and excellent fashion and Troy was great to work with. I would strongly recommend them for any type of landscaping work to address drainage issues."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"I was blown away by the work performed by Falls Church Paving Company. They returned my initial call in less than 24 hrs and began our project within 2 business days. Unlike the other companies that I received quotes from, Falls Church Paving used a crew of 4 to 5 and over $100K worth of equipment to include a paving machine and a vibratory roller. FC Paving removed and hauled away my existing 20 yr old driveway, installed 21A stone gravel base and widened the right and left sides of my driveway using 3" of asphalt. I was impressed with their precision and workmanship - especially after speaking with several contractors who were going to lay asphalt on top of my existing driveway and only hand stamp - no paving machine or roller - at a higher cost no less! Falls Church Paving even let me purchase PVC piping for my invisible fence at the end of my driveway and they didnt charge me extra to bury, install and reconnect it! I would highly Falls Church Paving for any Asphalt work."

"Not as planned since the shower replacement faucet was so corroded that Wayne could not remove the valve. He ended up opening up the wall to replace the piece containing the valve. He also checked the water pressure and adjusted it. He did not charge us for it. He also made a minor adjustment on the outside faucet without charge. Overall, Wayne was courteous and explained/showed me what he was doing. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring plumbing/sewer repairs."

"I contacted them via phone and left a message describing the job I wanted done . They phoned me a couple of days later and asked about the size of the tree and the location so they would know
what tools were needed. They said that sometimes they need to use the truck to pull the roots up. I gave them a description of the tree and its location and they quoted me a price of $210 over the phone. I sent them a picture via my iphone of the tree and the road in front of my house. They reviewed the picture and said they could do the job. I really appreciated discussing the job with them on the phone as another company I called did not.They said they could do it the next day in the late morning and I told them to come on out! They arrived at my house around 10 am and they were able to make quick work of the job. They  first cut the tree down with a chain saw and then dug the roots out with a pick axe and did not have to use the truck.They didn't damage any of the surrounding plants in my flower  bed. They also dumped some topsoil I had bought into the hole left by the roots. They took all debris with them and cleaned up my sidewalk afterward. They were very friendly and efficient. They did a great job!

"They gave us an estimate on 03/22 and we agreed on 04/04.  They started work on 04/11, with the removal of the existing brick patio and the flower garden,  They poured a concrete base, bringing both these areas to the same height as the sidewalk.  They then built a dry-stack stone enclosure on the front and side of our porch, and installed the square cut flagstone cap on the entire area.  Finally, they built an area of concrete, about four inches wide, to transition from the driveway to the new flagstone area.  This was done in about four days of work, including one day when they had to build a tent-like structure over the work site to shield them from the rain,  The entire crew was courteous, neat, and professional.  We would recommend their service to anyone."
