"R&D construction did the final grade and elevation dirt work in preparation for a barn built by Cleary. The work done failed Cleary first inspection. Stating that the build site needed to be within 6 inches of level from the hotspot to the lowest. After passing this inspection, R&D required payment in full. After the barn was built, every precipitation caused the interior of the building to flood. The final grade created by R&D construction sloped toward the building on three sides. by code there should be a 5% grade away from the building for 10 feet around the perimeter. This was not done. R&D construction was paid for installing concrete which also never was done because the site was too wet. And the site was too wet, because all surroundings sloped towards the interior of the building. R&D construction quoted an additional $20,000 to repair their own mistake. If the grade were done code, it would never have flooded and concrete would have been installed. Construction defect "

A few of the issues we encountered with Fullerton Works: -They nearly compromised our homes concrete foundation by having zero control over their concrete sawing subcontractor. -They demolished several thousand dollars worth of materials that were supposed to be salvaged for re-use- Even after I had a face to face conversation with their ?Project Manager?- who happened to reek of weed that day. -Their plumbing sub initially installed floor drain plumbing in the completely wrong locations and had to reinstall. Even after that, our linear drains were installed crooked within concrete even through they were within a couple inches of the wall they needed to run parallel to. -They had no control and failed to effectively coordinate or manage their subcontractors. They would switch subcontractors performing the same work type with dubious vetting. -After Fullerton Works proposed and I agreed to the correct concrete mix for the top pour of our sandwich slab"

Please understand that hiring this company will certainly result in an excruciatingly painful project. I would neither wish nor recommend this negative experience to anyone. I hired this company to remodel my kitchen. Here are some data points from my project: - The project started 66 days after my contractually promised a start date. No communications were given by a project coordinator to indicate delays, leaving me wondering if/when the project would start at all - When the project finally began, a subcontractor showed up and worked for 3 days to completely demolish my old kitchen, and partially install new cabinets. They left me with nothing functional. - The company then proceeded to leave me stranded for an additional 76 days with no sink, and no way to cook for myself. - They failed to meet their obligation to install a temporary sink (as promised in our contract) and missed their obligation of **substantial project completion** by 61 days. - They refused to complete 2 major scope items (plumbing and electrical work) approximately 100 days into the project, citing information available to them on the first day I signed their contract. They initially offered me credits for only half the cost to cover these items elsewhere, forcing a week-long negation process. The subcontractor who actually did the work in my home was fantastic. However, the company overall caused me so much pain and suffering that my new kitchen is not even worth the final end product."
