Get matched with top wood shake or composite roofing installers and replacers in Palatka, FL

"It went good, the price went up a bit but that’s because of all the wood they had to replace. I’m glad they did, they don’t cut corners when it comes to quality that’s for sure. I feel like a have a very tough roof for the hurricanes or bad weather we have here in Florida."

"Really liked how thorough the estimator was in inspecting the old roof and what was needed and recommended. Covenant was at the top end of the quotes I got, but I received the new roof I needed. Everything got done when they said it would and actually quicker. Clean up was complete and thorough. No extras or surprise expenses either."

"I had a great experience with Zack and Talon roofing for my roof install. Their team professional and quick. They did a great job, completed everything in a timely manner, and left the property clean when they were finished. I’m very happy with the work completed and have already recommend Them to friends and family."

"Overall it was a good installation and 3 roofers worked their butts off. We did have a couple scheduling issues but every thing else was fine."

"Jackie and Dave were great to work with throughout the process. Leading up to getting the new roof installed, we had a crazy storm rip through. I reached out to Jackie and she rallied the troops (while she was on vacation!!) and got someone from her team to rush over and caulk a compromised spot on the roof, which kept us dry until the new roof was put on. I can’t say enough great things about the whole team!"

"They installed the sliding windows when we where on a curse. When we got back the windows where in along with a new back door. It looked great a job very well done with no signs that anyone had been there.

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
