"We hired Zack to install crown molding in our cathedral, ceiling living room, and dining room. It was a difficult task with many unusual angles. It was a job that would normally demand two carpenters, working together to install, but amazingly, he was able to complete the entire job by himself. Multiple challenges faced him due to the construction of our home, but he was creative and resourceful in solving them. He was also an excellent communicator, and always showed up when he was scheduled. The finished product exceeded our already high expectations. We would definitely recommend this highly talented young man."

"Biasi tile crew came in to finish and repair what others had abandoned and ruined. They did a fantastic job. The owner, Rafael, is responsive and shows up daily, multiple times, to inspect work. He answered calls promptly and finished job on time. His crew is talented and competent. Will use them again."

Drywall
"Gerardo is a fine individual. He is polite, sincere, accountable, and exactly what you want in a vendor. His ability is that of a craftsman. He exceeded my expectations with all the work and repairs that he performed for me. He was always on time and did exactly as he was asked. He did work and made repairs that others could not. I only wish I found him at the beginning of my job as he wouldve saved me time, money, and aggravation. If you need any type of drywall installation, repair, textures, or outlets moved and patched, I promise you to look no further than Gerardo as he is a gem and the right person for the job. I gave him a five star review but he most certainly deserves 100 stars plus."

"The crew were very knowledgeable in the project we had for them. Changing out our slider in the family room. Our house is old and not plumb but they did a great job with installation! Fast, cleaning up whatever was messy and hauling away our old door! Door opens and shuts with hardly any effort ! Looks wonderful!"

"Working with Adriano has been excellent. He showed up on time with his team. They had ripped up 1100 sq. ft of tile in less than 4 hrs and by the end of the day the place was cleaned and ready for tiling the next day! Plus he took my demolition trash away too. Great guy to work with, highly recommended."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
