"I bought a brand new system in 2022 and signed up for the monthly maintenance . Recently I have been having issues with rusty water coming into the house . I called them and they came and dumped salt and acid . It didn?t fix the issue so I called back and couldnt reach them . I called another company and this is what they find . So much for monthly service and the 185 dollar service call . I am cutting my losses with this company and got a new system . I did call to cancel My service and they were going to call me back. Still waiting ! Go elsewhere !!!oh and yes that?s a rats nest in the motor . "

"He showed up the first day Thursday April 2 , late worked for about an hour and a half then disappeared for 3 hours. While his guys slept in the yard. Then came back with fewer guys worked another hour then left. The next day Friday April 3 he showed up 3 hours late. Worked for about 1 1/2 hours. Left to get parts for 3 1/2 hours. While the one guy left behind was sleeping in the bushes. When he returned his guys did not want to dig deep enough for the drains to work. They were digging the trench up hill. They were in a hurry to get paid. It was now dark and he wanted to get paid. I asked when he was coming back to finish the job. When I paid he wanted Zell. I said no, he said he wanted a check made out to cash when I said his name he wanted the check made out to James Stuberfield. So I believe he did not give me his real name. He said Wednesday or Thursday April 9. They did not show up. When I called him on Friday April 10 he did not remember my number. And did not say when he is planning to return. They did not buy enough gravel to fill in the trenches like we had agreed on. They just hand sprinkle a few rocks here and there. They forgot to install one of the 4 drains we agreed on the other drains were installed to low to use. I had to dig up all the drains and reinstall them to the correct height. So I had to buy more parts and dig up and install All 4 drains myself. They broke the underground pipe in my sprinkler system I had to dig it up and have someone repair it. They buried several of my sprinkler heads. Some they reinstalled but did not burry them deep enough to use. So I had to dig them up and reinstall them. Dirt is still in piles all over the lawn killing my grass. They never came back to install sod. They left all the rocks, bricks, and debris that they dug up all over the lawn. In addition they threw the gravel they brought all over the lawn. It s now Monday April 13 and I still haven t heard anything from Trevon. I have now spent more hours repairing my yard then they spent over 2 days working on it."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Palm City, FL

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
