"The technician "found" both dry wood and subterranean termites and insisted that tent fumigation would be required for the dry wood termites. Furthermore, we would have to wait 6 weeks for the tenting. The technician stopped returning our calls on follow-up questions. We got a second inspection done by Native Termite & Pest Management, who also found dry wood termites, but did not find subterranean termites. They said that no-tent treatment would be sufficient for the dry wood termites, saving us a lot of time and money."

Critter Control gave us a quote on-site, immediately following completion of their free inspection. And Critter Control was halfway through the job before we received the quote from the other company who had been onsite a week before Critter Control. The other company’s quote came in at double the cost of Critter Control. And the young man from the other company who tried to sell the job was less than honest. He used gross exaggeration, misinformation, and hyped up fear tactics on my ninety two year old mother to try and close the deal. We found him to be unreliable and disreputable. On the other hand, Critter Control was straightforward and extremely professional, provided excellent workmanship, and went above and beyond to insure our complete satisfaction. We initially had to wait longer than we wanted to for the initial inspection, but they responded immediately to all of our inquiries and requests from that point forward. To make your yard less attractive to moles, alter your landscape to remove the conditions they favor. Install deep barriers around garden beds, clear out debris such as tree stumps and dead leaves, and manage grub populations actively. Incorporate plants known to deter moles, such as daffodils, marigolds, and garlic, to significantly discourage their presence.
Moles pose minimal danger to you. They do not carry rabies and do not bite humans under normal circumstances. Their impact is confined to creating tunnels that may cause minor lawn damage. In the event of a bite, immediate medical care is recommended to prevent infection and to ensure proper treatment, although bites are extremely uncommon.
