"Excellent communication from the first meeting to look at the roof, through establishing the contract, scheduling, and completing the work. There was unexpected additional action required at the end of the project and, Rene, the Superintendent, followed up and had that completed ASAP. I also want to comment that the roof replacement was done on my parents' home in S.Calif. I live in the Seattle area. I had hoped to be there during the roof replacement but the timing was such that I could not be. Rene was accessible to me by phone or email if I had questions or was working through details on behalf of my parents. He always responded in a timely manner. Rene also went above and beyond by taking pictures of each stage of the project, emailing them to me with updates. My parents asked me to be on point so much of the communication came to me, yet Rene also kept my parents' updated. Jordan Roofing is professional, timely, and clean up was thorough. Excellent customer service and high quality work. Even the city roof inspector commented that Jordan Roofing Company does excellent work. I highly recommend Jordan Roofing Company."

"First off I want to thank Gary and his team for taking excellent care of my mothers home. She's 90 and relies on me to work with contractors etc. I received bids from 5 companies and what set Gary apart was the products he uses and the warranties given through himself and the manufacturer along with his welcoming demeanor. He can offer these warranties because he is a certified contractor for the products he sells. His price was fair, not the cheapest of my bids but I felt Gary had more to offer and I was willing to pay a little more for it. Secondly, Gary is reachable by phone more than he probably wants. He always responded to me right away either by call or text, sometimes in the evenings. He shows up when he says he will and he does everything he promises. We installed a 50 year roof and I watched his workers install everything. I am a retired engineer so I tend to be meticulous about craftsmanship. Hands down, his team performed flawlessly."

"My neighbor hired Angel Roofing to perform a total tile roof replacement. I was in the market for the same project. This was a prime time to watch and evaluate their work. I was super impressed at the work ethic, high grade materials, the special venting system installed, and the friendly approach by the owner. Needless to say, I hired Angel Roofing to upgrade my roof. The results are OUTSTANDING! And I must add that the owner provided me with a veteranâ s discount. And it didnâ t stop there. Angel provided an additional discount for using a cash payment. Am I satisfied and happy? You bet."

"I hired HH Preferred Roofing to remove and replace our flat built up roof, parapets and barrel tile coping. They replaced it with a new double torch down system and replaced some of the existing roof sheathing and skylights. They were competitive and were clearly the most experienced and knowledgeable out of all the groups I spoke to. Aaron was fantastic and great to work with throughout the entire process. He truly cares about his clients and that they are satisfied with the work. If you’re in City of LA, they will be able to do the work quicker than a lot of other roofers because they are approved to take care of city roofing inspections. He also helped walk me through the LADWP rebate program. Highly recommend you reach out to him if you need your roof replaced."

"They did great. They showed up on time, left it clean, and got it done in around 20 hours over two days. They cut drain trails for five different areas on the roof and replaced some under layer in one area where it was needed."

"To start, the requirement to strictly adhere to all manufacturers' specifications and building codes for this re-roofing job was stringent, for I monitored the crew's work from start to finish. Tear-Off: After two weeks delay, the actual work started with SW Roof TearOff removing the old shingles. A little bump here, as there were a lot of old nails sticking out of the roof deck, pieces of tar paper still stuck to the deck, a cracked fascia board (which they quickly blamed the old wood) and a broken vent pipe after they're done. Bad wood replacement: Decent work by Excalibur Roofing crew, but definitely no precision carpentry, because of the crew did not possess precision equipment. Roof shingles installation: New underlayment / peel-n-stick installation was acceptable, again under my supervision. Some sections of the Drip-edge installation had to be re-worked. I had to request careful staging of the shingle rows, as the crew did not initially take into account the out-of-square characteristics of each roof section. The nailing of shingles was just acceptable, as I had the crew remove quite a few nails that were either shot-crooked or too deep into the shingle; in this respect, the crew, although experienced, was rushing the shingle-nailing job with less than perfect nail guns. The installed vents were about 0.75 in. off the pre-cut holes in the plywood; again, something that could have been prevented with a little extra time and care. The trimming of shingles along the rakes was sloppy; the 0.25 in. shingle overhang was in itself a challenge, and yet, the crew had to resort to scissors because of dull cutting blades! The same thing happened to the trimming of the shingles along the valley lines. The crew was very cooperative, but Erik never showed up during any stage of the installation (I guess he was counting on me to take his place). In the end, the finished roof looks pretty good from far away and has been watertight for two years; the actual price paid to Excalibur Roofing Services, Inc was somewhat high, when taking into account the time I had to spend checking each stage of the project. December 2018 Update: I discovered that a Decoridge cap came loose at the eave’s end of the hip ridge, hanging with just one nail (the other nail was shot-crooked and never penetrated the plywood). I then called Excalibur Roofing Services, Inc to request warranty service, only to be told by Mike that the company is currently out-of-business. It does look like this company’s 10-year workmanship warranty for my roof is down the drain; so, I ended up re-nailing the loose cap and seal it myself."

"This is an update to a previous review where I gave the company an F rating for lack of response and updates to scheduling of my work after a deposit was given. Following my complaint, the company president reached out with an apology for the misunderstanding and was able to get my work scheduled and completed in a very timely fashion. My estimator and the crew that came out were great. No issues or complaints about the price or professionalism of the team that worked on site. I feel like they did a good job, although I'll have to wait for the next rain to make sure the leak is fixed. Barring the office staff that could definitely work on communication and responsiveness, I would definitely use Chandler's Roofing again. This was only a repair as a short term solution and I will be looking to do a full roof replacement once I complete the addition to the house in 18 months. I hope to give Chandler's Roofing another opportunity."
