"The estimator, Mirek Duda, measured twice (so his guys would only have to cut once), and the installers arrived on time. They were very professional, taking great pains to make my countertops looked perfect. I had asked for the piece cut out for the sink to use as a cutting board, and the guys at New Stone Design agreed. Unfortunately, they forgot the cutting board, and were short one small backsplash piece (of less than 1 sq. ft.). They agreed to return in "a day or two," but I had to wait more than two weeks and four or five follow-up calls for that to occur. Mirek eventually had a new installer bring the cutting board and the backsplash. He arrived exactly as agreed, so all was forgiven. I am very pleased with my new Quartz countertops. The price was right, and the quality is top notch. I would recommend New Stone Design to all in need of new countertops."

" Just moved to condo in Chicago that was in need of updating. We originally came in contact with Countertop Services because we wanted  to restore some older furniture that we have.  We also wanted to repurpose some other furniture by refinishing it a matte black. When Gerardo saw that we were getting bids on the floor he asked to bid on that also. He also took us to see an example of a floor that was done about three years ago in a model townhouse. We were so impressed by that floor as it looked absolutely beautiful.  We received three bids on the floor and Countertop's was by far the best  in value as well as being a detailed description of what was to be accomplished.  We considered an engineered floor but after seeing the example in the model we chose to go with the hardwood floor. We also decided to have Countertop Services do our furniture as well. The floor is beautiful, as well as, the furniture we had refinished. We couldn't be happier with everything nor with the way the work was completed. The workman came everyday when expected if not a bit early, cleaned up after themselves. We also were having a new kitchen installed so we were very pleased the way they handled that schedule, all the boxes, moved our furniture out of the way, as well as moving everything back. Overall we couldn't be more pleased and look forward to working with Countertop Services, as we continue to update our condo. "It was a challenge through the whole process. Their language barrier made it very difficult. Communication was poor which added a ton of stress to the process. Was told one thing than another then made to feel I was the one who messed up. Office said one thing ... the installer said something else. Feared the worse and watched them like a hawk during installation which the installer did not seem to appreciate. I don't know how but through all this horror the outcome is the countertop looks good. The granite is cut accurately and seams were blended well. Not sure all the stress was worth it though, but very glad the outcome is good and working with them is done."
