They then filled in the lawn with fresh soil, adjusted the grading for better drainage, and meticulously planted new grass seeds, ensuring to cover them with straw and providing us with detailed watering instructions for optimal growth. Along the side of our house, they planted small boxwood shrubs that promise to enhance our yard's aesthetic once they mature. On the scheduled day, Parkyn Landscaping's crew arrived promptly at 7:30 am, ready to work. Despite the scorching 90-degree heat, they worked tirelessly throughout the day, demonstrating efficiency and a no-nonsense approach. By 4:30 pm, they had completely transformed our yard beyond recognition – so much so that we couldn't resist taking pictures to share with our relatives. "It was okay, but it was not right. The guy was not very punctual, and he came late. We had to reschedule a couple of times. I refused to pay anymore than $419. At the same time they left some work unfinished because of that. They were saying that they need more time and money to do some of the work. I had to question whether it was something they could have questioned before or not because initially the second time you can do everything, then it's only well within the day when they said sorry we will not be able to finish the work today, either pay more or we stop there. Two people did the work, it was for four hours. It was more about professionalism and customer service. It's great to understand what the customer wants to do and give an appropriate solution, all the while respecting the customer's time, and expectations. My problem was that I ended up having to reschedule several times. On the day they came they were at least an hour late. When they were here, rather than managing my expectations and telling me yes it is possible or no it's not possible, they didn't seem to care. They call me and tell me they are going to leave now, and what do I do. That's not my problem and that's the thing I don't like."

He worked with us on cost, and even came out on a Saturday morning to fix the issue rather than leaving us in the dark over the weekend! "The first time they came out it was discovered that the existing lights I had were not the same size as the lights they had in the truck. They measured the lights and the owner told me he would try to find the correct size. About 2 days later he called and said he had found the correct lights at the same price as the deal $199.  I also needed an additional light installed and he charged me a reasonable $95 for the 5th light.  We arranged our schedules and set an appointment for the installation.  The team of 2 came on time and were very polite and friendly. I had purchased another hall light and asked how much for installation, the guy said he would not charge me anything and do it as a courtesy install.  About 90 minutes later all the work was done, the mess was cleaned up and my new recessed lights as well as a new dimmer switch and new hall light were installed.  I gave the guy another $25 for installing the hall light.  All in all it was a very good experience and I would use them again.

Maybe it was just a bad day for them and they may perform nice work. I based my decision on initial contact and interaction.

"We had a small issue with the original date of installation as two of their crew were out sick. Chris the supervisor actually came to start the work that same day and it was finished the next day. They had to cut out the old tile and drywall and replace it. The job was not simple as it involved cutting colored tiled and having to match the pattern on the ends of the wall. They did tremendous work and I would definitely call them again when I decide to do my bathrooms.
