The window repair was very well done after a extremely poor installation by Home View. They removed the window, replaced the rotted wood and reframed and reinstalled the window. "I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"The quality of the work was good, however more tasks should have been completed in the allotted 4 hour timeframe. Upon arrival, Mike's drill was not charged and ready for use, which is unacceptable and delayed starting the work. He also didn't prioritize the tasks in order to compensate for the equipment not being ready for use. Additionally, he moves very slowly which henders getting tasks done in a timely manner. All of our tasks were relatively simple handyman tasks that we expected a professional contractor to move through rather quickly and simply didn't meet our expectations. Mike does quality work, but he moves to slow for our liking and we should've received more work for the money. We have to finish a portion of the work he started but didn't complete which we aren't pleased with. We question his ability to take on minor or major projects and complete them in a timely fashion and therefore wouldn't hire him again. We would recommend Mike, but he just isn't for us because we expect good quality, good price and timeliness."

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"I would just like to say...I entered a request on Angie's list for an estimate and was immediately contacted to set up an appointment. They were on time when they arrived and very professional. We were looking to set up and install a HVAC system in a small weekend home that doesn't have central air or heat. The only reason we didn't decide to use them for the install was because we decided to go with a different product. I would definitely use them for their services if needed in the future. "We had the entire bathroom gutted and replaced a tub with a walk-in shower (Kohler Salient Cast Iron ...very nice).  Obe did all the work himself (I helped him carry the 200 lb shower base upstairs).  When Obe ripped up the floor he discovered that it wasn't level.  Rather than mess with shims to try and level the floor Obe ripped up the entire floor and replaced to make sure it was level for our 12 x 12 titles (porcelain tiles from Architectural ceramics that look like marble).  It took Obe about 9 working days to complete the project.  I did the painting but Obe did everything else.  We had originally hired Obe 2 years ago to do electrical work on a kitchen remodel and he saved us money by finding a less expensive alternative for installing a microwave over our stove (he is a licensed electrician).  We then hired him earlier this year to remodel our powder room and were very happy with the work he did.Obe is honest, trustworthy, and is a creative problem solver.  He doesn't rush to finish as he is a bit of a perfectionist. He is also very easy to work with...he really wants to please customers and has a great attitude.   <br /> We are so happy with our new bathroom.  It looks beautiful!  I would hire Obe again in a heartbeat, "
