"John and Charlotte were very kind and responsive throughout the refinishing process and our floors look great! John even custom made replacement flooring for our living room. I would definitely recommend them for any hardwood flooring project"

"Did a great job on the floors. Was not pleased with how they prepped the house for sanding. Did not cover shelving, cabinets and appliances very well. I would suggest overseeing the covering of everything prior to sanding."

"I found out about New Haven painters through my brother in law who does home restoration and renovations. Paul came to give us an estimate, set up the schedule, and his team showed up on time. The cabinet doors arrived on schedule. I've never seen such a meticulous worker tape off countertops and floors - very professional. I am truly impressed, and I highly recommend this company. What a fantastic job! It looks like a brand new kitchen."

"Craig arrived on time and provided samples. He gave us a great quote and was respectful the entire meeting. Although we did not hire him for the project for budgetary reasons, it was a pleasure having him look at our home."

"Very professional. Installed a floating vinyl floor in the basement. Looks great."

"Had a great experience with this company! They were professional and knowledgeable and provided with satisfactory answers to all of my questions. Highly recommend them!"

"Very professional and showed up when they said they would. I had them skim coat some walls damaged when I removed backsplash. Will hire again"

"I would have put 4 stars because, although the floors were done beautifully, there was some lousy communication during the process. The crew was supposed to be completely done by Thursday, so I started going about my day in the house on Friday and was unpleasantly surprised to see them show up to "finish". They also left a giant pile of trash on my lawn after completing the job (not just sawdust which I expected, but a pile of carpet padding which was not from my house). It was difficult to get in touch with anyone to get answers for a few days over the weekend. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is that, when I finally did get a response, I talked directly with Marteen the CEO, who was very apologetic about the trash and lack of communication regarding the crew's need for an extended timeline, and came by to remove the trash himself. He checked in afterwards to make sure I felt better about the whole experience. The crew actually did an amazing job on the floors and they look brand new, I just wish their mindfulness and communication during the job was a bit better. So what would have been 4 stars is definitely 5, and Marteen's effort is the reason. I've been recommending TLC since. If you want your hardwood floors to look amazing without paying through the roof, TLC is the place to go."

"I needed to have the old flooring removed and the new flooring put down. They team was very professional. They realized the subflooring was messed up in a section and made sure to stop and communicate so the job can be doone correctly. I appreciated that factor and was able to approve a replacement of the messed up board the great thing was they were still able to finish the job in the time frame they originally stated! I plan to use them for all jobs moving forward. Priced fair, quality work, and friendly and professional!"

"Marcos and his team did an amazing job in my home. I had new flooring put in on my first floor and my wood railing refinished. I am extremely happy with their work and would highly, highly recommend them for any flooring or wood refinishing project you are looking to do."
