"After 30 years in our home, our kitchen needed some updates. Our original cabinets were solid wood/custom made to the kitchen, so we were hesitate to simply discard them. We opted for wood veneer reface, new quartz countertops, porcelain farm sink and new tile backsplash. The results are amazing. Our installers/carpenters - John B. and Bobby did a truly amazing job refacing the cabinets, installing the sink and all the doors/drawers. I especially appreciated their attention to detail on all the trim. Our space is complicated, and they addressed it all - with skill and great attitudes. The new kitchen is just beautiful. They did a great job."

"I?m so shocked that this company was so professional and efficient? I needed major work and repair to a very personal piece passed down from my dad? I thought it was too old to salvage for sure, but, Knock on wood created an entire new sturdy piece out of what I had!!!!!! I NEVER EXPECTED TO BE EMOTIONAL AT ALL! The project was done in 2 days although I was told to give them about a week? Wondering where to place it in my home now as a focal piece instead of it being tucked away in the garage!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I can?t wait for them to come back for a mural in my basement before Christmas!!! Thanks again!!!!!?"

"Excellent crew. Daniel, Mark, Chris and Kent were professionals, meticulous, and pleasant to work with. Ed did a great job building the custom cabinets. Especial thanks to Daniel and Mark for looking to every details and for going above and beyond. Dennis was very responsive and easy to reach for questions. Love the end result. We highly recommend the team of Reface Cabinet."

"Wanted custom cabinets to match the cabinets that were already in the house. After providing a rough drawing of what we wanted, discussed the design with Floyd. He was able to build exactly what we wanted. They look great and we are very pleased with the final product."

"I was preparing a home to sell it and they came out probably within a few weeks after I purchased the “Big Deal” and the service turned out perfectly. They technician that came out was very professional and did a really good job. He was clean in the area where he did it. It took several hours to do the process because it had to be done in layers and the finish product was very good. There was nothing negative about the result and I was very pleased with the result. They were very helpful in scheduling the service and completing it as we scheduled it."

"Everything went fantastic. We actually love our kitchen and laundry room now. We had gotten to the point we hated the kitchen and tolerated the laundry room. Now both and especially the kitchen look very elegant. Working with Micah was wonderful. He was very professional, offered many suggestions on what was needed or how it should be done. He was honest, listened and understood what we needed, went out of his way to insure that we were happy and was very meticulous about his work.
We have a very large kitchen so needless to say it was a major undertaking especially correcting all the problems left by the original cabinet maker. When Micah finished it looked like we had installed all new high-end cabinets but at almost half the price of putting in new cabinets.
So anyone that has a situation like us where the cabinet boxes themselves are salvageable we highly recommend Residential Facelift. We had looked at other companies that reface kitchen cabinets but found that their techniques were not appealing and were more expensive. We are definitely pleased with the work Residential Facelift had done and highly recommend them. In fact we are already thinking about them doing the cabinets and trim in our master bathroom (again fixing the disaster from the original cabinet maker)."

"Raul & Raul Sr were amazing to work with! I hired them to complete a whole house interior painting (4,000-SF) & kitchen cabinet painting for a listing I was getting ready to sell. They finished on time and did such a great job I was handing out their contact information left & right at my open houses! These guys are perfectionist! I will definitely use them again. I cannot be more pleased with their services~ Noah Müller Keller Williams Realtor"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Peachtree City, GA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
