"On a Tuesday night during a large wind and rain storm, my roof over my mud room began leaking rain water through our light fixture and into the ceiling in our kitchen. We had around 16-18 buckets of water that night. I knew damage had occurred, and although I dont typically place a claim with my insurance company, I knew this was obviously a time that I needed too. My claim representative was going to stop by on Friday to take a look and because another day of heavy rain was coming soon, I knew I needed someone to help with a Tarp and plans to repair the roof, so I placed a message on HomeAdvisor.com and Angieâ s list. I contacted around 4 roofers in the area. I knew that I could Tarp the roof myself, but I thought that taking the risk was just not worth it. I felt it was wiser to lean on someone with experience in that area, to be safe. On Friday morning, Zack from Skyline Construction Group called me. He said, he could stop by and help by first placing a tarp on my roof at no cost to me. I explained to him that a Claim Rep, would arrive around 12:00 and he said, He would also provide any support he could during the review of the damage, by arriving while the claim rep. was here. He said, having a contractor during that time can really help. No one else contacted me that morning, but Zack, so I agreed he should come. He also felt confidant that based on my description of the damage, that insurance would likely help on the roof costs. It was clear to me during our talk over the phone, that he had plenty of experience and to me at this time, I needed exactly just that. Zack arrived at 11:30 and reviewed my roof. He was very professional, kind and explained everything to me. I signed a basic agreement allowing work to be completed by Skyline Construction Group, that the insurance would cover, whether repairs or complete roof replacement. My claims agent arrived and began surveying the damage. It did not take long and Zack alerted me while the claims rep. was still reviewing my roof that, my whole roof would be covered, except that Id have to pay a deductible on my insurance and any smaller costs that were not covered under my plan/insurance. I felt that was quite fair. What Iâ ve learned after working with Zack and Skyline Construction Group , is that .. They tell you the facts. They know what they are talking about because they have the experience to back it up. They follow through with what they say. They also handle much of the paperwork involved with the insurance process which is an added benefit of working with them. My experience has been nothing but positive. Zack represented the company very well and I appreciate all their help in this process!"

"Came in time, worked efficiently and cleaned up site after they were done. Only glitch was using brown shingles on grey sided shed when we previously said grey or black. Had I not noticed this until they were done, it would have delayed getting the job completedâ ¦as it was, it took only four hours.. called Nelson and he rectified the situation right awayâ ¦at first wanted to say how good quality the brown were and I could get a price break, but I reiterated it wouldnâ t look good and we asked for grey or black. "The job went exactly as proposed I had a leak in my chimney they replaced the chimney flashing with new copper flashing and new shingles around the chimney. "The technician who ran the the show ( Julian Suspes) worked with a crew of four, all were very knowledgeable in process. James Hardie siding is of  fiber cement. Go on line to see specs, warranty, etc. very good.  When I had an exterminator come to do an ant treatment due to the wet weather he commented how well the siding was done evenly and neat, better than most he has come across. It had changed the entire look of the house, get nothing but good comments. Front of house done in a shingle type format while sides and back done long sheets. One of the first houses to use shingle type front format in this area. All windows done in one day by two carpenters, they were neat as well and the roof took three days,taking off two old.  Originally looked for siders on Angies list got three estimates all around or near the James Hardie siding price but vinyl.  Only things that i needed to do was match some(little) trim outside. Benjamin Moore has matching paint.  Very satisfied with whole process, with minor delays, but thats common with most contractors. (weather, special colors, product availability etc.  Would highly recommend Remodel-Design by Bongiovanni"

"They were great experiences. We have worked with Platinum several times because we liked their prices, punctuality, and professionalism. The first time we hired them was to remodel our guest bathroom. We had a tub/wall combo that we didn't like and wanted to replace with new tub and tile. We got several proposals, but many of them were over priced and they always would end up breaking most of the bathroom. Platinum proposed a cleaner job also at a lower cost. It was great! We were not happy with how the cubby in the shower was made, and we didn't say it to them until after a few months, they still came and fixed it! The second time we had them was a few months later to remodel the kitchen. We wanted a bigger island and to get rid of a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and move it to a side. We asked them for a quote before we asked anyone else. We were so happy with the price that we didn't even ask other companies for any quotes. They moved the fridge and opened up space for the new fridge with the existing cabinets. The also installed the new island and re did the kitchen floor from tile to wood. They made it match with the floor we already had in the living room. It was great as well! Third time we hired them to put a wall outside our house. When we bought the house, it seems like the living room was an extension made on a deck. The underneath the deck was never covered, therefore the living room was always cold. Platinum put insulation and a new wall. We had at least 2 other contractors give us a quote, but then we finally asked Platinum again (we didn't ask them initially because we weren't sure they did that type of job). Well, they gave us a proposal and it was lower than the others, and again with guys we already knew. It was an easy decision. Then the last job we used them for was a few weeks ago to convert out master bath from a tub (kind of Jacuzzi) to a stand-up shower. They came to give us the price almost immediately. They were available for inspections, and they were even available for picking up permits or materials if I couldn't do it myself. I was very pleased with their job. I made a mistake getting the wrong tiles; they noticed when they started putting up the tile and saw the difference. I felt terrible, but they were so patient and helpful. They just removed the tile and waited for me to get new one. I really recommend these guys!!!! They have also done a few other smaller jobs in my house, like repairing a hole in the wall that my nephews made playing soccer inside the basement. Repairing a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Repairing a broken piece in the second floor wooden floor...I think I lost count. The price i am putting down below is only for the master bathroom as I don't remember the other prices."
