"The deck, chandelier, handrail, and UV projects were done in October. The windows required a special order and were installed on two consecutive days in December. Mr. Jackson and his employees did an excellent job. They are efficient and courteous, and left the work areas very clean. Chris is knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. It is difficult to make a definitive price comparison, as we did not get estimates from other contractors, but we trust Chris—I had hired him for work on a previous house—and feel that his prices were very fair and reasonable. Casement windows are expensive and we expected that; the new ones are excellent. While here to do the windows the guys also moved a heavy chest from the garage up to our second floor, a task we could not have done ourselves. We can highly recommend Chris Jackson’s Contracting. This review should have been posted long ago, but better late than never."

"I’m a happy customer. I needed a deadbolt lock not only installed, but actually cut for my front door. There was a small equipment issue (I heard Joe fighting with his cutter, and anyone with a mechanic in their life understands that this is par for the course lol), but the final product turned out great! He even factored in the unique positioning required for the lock to work best, taking into account the natural shape of the old wooden door and its glass window. The price was beyond reasonable (dare I say downright affordable!) and the time it took was less than projected. ‘Under budget’ for both time and money is a dream to everyone looking for services! I will definitely be calling on TrokStar again!"

"Very satisfied with the experience. The United Freight rep took the time to explain how the car transport industry works and helped me choose the best option and price point for my shipment. Other carriers I contacted simply quoted a single price and no options. Would definitely use United Freight again."

"Provider was great. Spent time to make two of the doors lock better, including replacing a strikeplate and door knob (without asking). Great attention to detail, including putting a towel down beneath door to protect wood floor."

"The job was installed precisely as expected, on time and correct. Had three estimates, they had the most knowledge and confidence for the job, so I said, Yes the day they came to give me estimate. I have 25 yrs. experience in the construction industry, I know what is good, fair or just down right bad. Dan and Jason came to install, they installed exactly as written in contract. They were professional, courteous, clean and very proficient. Was very pleased when job was complete, 6 hrs later, I was extactic. Most folks investments, especially there homes are the largest and most important investment that they make in a lifetime. I wasn't about to let someone who was inadaquit do the job. I chose this company because of there skill set, were most organized, answered questions correctly in regards to codes in my township. They did it, and I am very excited and pleased that hufnagel did the job. I can sleep at night knowing that my home is protected against lightning strikes with a rod placed outside, whole house surge protection and not least they mapped out every single outlet, recepticles, appliances down to the area were the alarm clock was plugged in. Bravo zulo for a job well done. The real boss is Joyce, Dave's wife, was so nice to speak to on the phone in preparations for the job..Blessings to Hufnagel's, to me they are quite the fun crew. They made me laugh quite a bit, and found out my wife was there favorite. And thats ok, she is my favorite too..Blessings Always!"

"Chris and his crew were excellent overall. They were totally responsive to all of our suggestions. They were very professional at explaining what they were doing and why. They were very neat on the project--there was no mess left behind when they were done. They started and completed the work as scheduled and as promised. The price as quoted was the actual price. They restored the 100 year old wooden railing, built a matching gate across the front entrance, installed new Azek flooring after repairing several damaged areas of the under structure. They applied 3 coats of paint (primer and 2 color coats). They worked with us in matching the previous paint colors (3 colors). They also, at our request, built exact duplicates of two window boxes that had rotted over the years. They did not have loud music playing while they worked and there was no loud yelling during the construction (as we've observed on many other construction projects). The final result is beautiful and even better than we expected. It was a pleasure to have Chris and his crew work with us and we are totally satisfied with the result at our 100 year old house. We will be hiring them again for additional projects at our home."

"In February I was informed that my furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger. I live in a manufactured home and the furnace is on the main level of the house. I wanted the furnace moved to the basement. That meant pretty much all new ductwork as well as new returns. The air conditioner was as old as the furnace so rather than be inconvenienced this summer having to replace it, I decided to have both replaced. After doing much research, I decided to go the extra step and have a heat pump installed rather than an air conditioner. The project manager, Mike, was very informed on all of the equipment and spent enough time with me to be sure I understand the workings of a heat pump. I only have access to propane where I live and with the cost of propane increasing every year, a heat pump is a viable option. I work full time and have a medium sized dog. The gentlemen showed up on time the first day so I could get them in to look at the scope of the work. They were very nice and interacted with my dog to set me at ease. We arranged an equally acceptable schedule where my Dad could be here during the day in case they needed anything and even contacted him directly if they're schedule changed. I certainly would have been comfortable having them enter my house whether or not anyone was here. The job ultimately took 12 days to complete. The work space in my basement was all cleaned up and the old equipment hauled away. They even left the copper piping for my Dad to scrap for a few bucks! No weekend work so I still had my weekends to run errands. A couple of days after they finished, I asked that one of their technicians come by in the afternoon when I could be here to explain the workings of the heat pump and thermostat. They accommodated my schedule and a gentleman came by on his way home and went over all of the new equipment and what service I need to do to keep things in top shape. All in all a painless experience. <br />"

"Sean did an excellent job with the installation of my doors. His attention to detail shows in the finished product. Unlike the big box store installers, he cares about the job and how it look finished. I will use Sean again for future home improvement projects."
